Well, there are a number of apps in android market which allow you to take a partial or full backup of your phone, as necessary!Perhaps you have heard about this: Titanium Backup (pro). Name one thing from your storage, and I am pretty much sure it can backup that too. From normal data to app-data, browser history to contacts...it can backup everything! If you have already started thinking that "I'm not gonna brick my phone for a backup", here's your survivor: Helium made by Koush,CWM. It just requires to connect your phone with a laptop via android ADB(debugging mode). Then take back a seat and enjoy, It will backup everything. It has an option to create a backup on cloud also, like GDrive or Dropbox and it will restore the device from that image. Though the last part is for PRO users. There is also a NANDROID backup option available from the recovery mode. Is there any software that can help me take backup of all my currently installed android phone apps?

Titanium Backup is the app you are looking for. Taking a look below at the features list, it supports almost every option and configuration you can throw at it. You can backup system and paid apps as well as their associated data, and non-market installed apps in virtually any configuration you would like. A unique aspect of Titanium Backup is the market doctor, only available in the donate version, which repairs damaged market links in apps that were inproperly updated/installed, and the app freezer which allows you to entirely disable an application without uninstalling it, making it very fitting of the name “App Freezer”. I really liked the amount of customization you are given over the application, as I had several types of compression available, and could enable/disable any feature I wished. Several other exclusive  features only available in the donate version make it well worth the price tag, such as batch "zero click background batch" backup and restore, automated verification of backups, multiple backups for each app, all of which is user-configurable. I personally find myself using this app all the time to backup all my data and apps, which makes testing out new builds, updates, or ROMs completely seamless, and makes me feel secure knowing my data is backed up on my SD card should anything happen to my phone, physically or software-wise.

How do I restore my accidentally deleted contacts from an Android phone?

Basically, when you use a android phone, you must be signed in to the phone using one of your google account. Google helps you backup and restore your contacts very easily just in few steps. Before, you might want to try restoring, I would suggest you to login to your gmail account on a PC and go to the "Contacts" Menu as shown in the figure below. You should find all your contacts in this window. Now go to your phone, follow the steps:1. Go to settings.2. Go to Accounts.3. Select Google.4. You should be able to see all your google accounts here. 5. Make sure you have the same account that holds your contacts is configured here. (Otherwise add it using "Add Account" option)6. Now you can synch all or any of your desired applications as below.7. Make sure you have the Contacts Sync button on as seen in the above pic.8. Now, press the 3 dots in the top of the above screen, and select Sync Now.9. You should be able to see all your missed contacts, are getting synched from your gmail account. Now, what if you do not have your contacts in your gmail account? If you have them in form of soft copy (any file) you can import it in to your gmail contacts as CSV file. and then sync them up easily to your mail. So, I recommend all of you to enable auto sync in your android device with your google account and make sure the contacts are synched by checking in the gmail contacts. Beacuse the contacts are sometimes invaluable to us. Let me know, if you want any more help in this.

Backup contacts, apps, text messages, photos and etc... on android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 3)?

Hi Paul,

It's very easy, only download "G Cloud Backup" from Google Play Store. Select what you want to backup contacts, messages, music, pictures and start the backup. It will save all your data to the cloud incase you lost or damaged your device.

It is free to install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...

But if you want to backup your apps, you should have your phone rooted ( which I wouldn't recommend as you will void your warranty)

Am I able to transfer patched android apps from a rooted phone to a non-rooted phone?

If you have the APK file for the app I would just install it personally, just make sure that the "allow installation of non-market apps" box is checked in settings on the non rooted phone.
I'm not sure if the patching involved adding any root access so it may not work properly if it did, essentially I wouldn't be too concerned as a non rooted phone won't allow the app to access the root file system and damage anything, it could "possibly" have the potential to damage user data though, but that's a warning I would give to anybody installing any type of custom software.
