Is There Any Software Whcih Stores Power Like Battery In A File Or Update Format If Yes Let Me

Mac or PC which is better, please lists. Pros and Cons?

I am planning to use my notebook just for note takling and homework and download music for free. Thats it. and I don't want to carry around a heavy notebook like my HP. Its really heavy when you have alot of book to carry plus this HP, and the battery life only last for 3 hours MAX! and its suck because I have to carry the charger while I'm in class charging my HP and taking notes.

Can I recover old data from my dead camcorder?

Hello. I've had a camcorder for the past 6 years. It has last been used around 5 years ago.

Up until recently, the camera was fine with the exception of the batteries(Simple AAA) not working, a connector in the battery slot was broken. I could get around this, and power up the camera by having it plugged into the charger. I've lost the charger and that was the reason I've not used the camera in ages.

A few weeks ago I decided I'd like to finally trash the camera but I have some important pictures and videos on there that I want to transfer to my computer before doing so.

Just recently within the past few days I put the wrong charger in there. It required 5V and I put in a 12V charger. [Dumb. I know..] Within a few seconds there was a "shock" sound that came from inside the camera, and seconds after it was smoking. Yes, I breathed in as much of the smoke as I could and no it didn't help the camera.

The data I need is not on a memory card. It is on the internal memory.
I would like to know how to get it onto a Memory Card, USB drive, HDD or anything else without access to the camera. If I cannot do it, then what kind of company should I contact in order to get this done and how much could it cost?

I have a micro-SD card, and a Micro-SD -> SD adapter for it.

Microsoft Word - why didn't my document save changes I made?

I have been working on an assignment for about a week now, yet suddenly, everything I did in the last 3 days is gone. I was using Microsoft word, I did save it on occasion, maybe every hour or so. It is also set to auto save every 10 minutes.

Last night, while I had Word open, my laptop battery ran out and the computer shut down. It was about an hour before I went to go back and work on it some more and realized the battery was dead. I plugged it in, turned the laptop on and went to my saved file. To my surprise it pulled up the version that I had saved 3 days prior with nothing else on it. It was as though the last three days never happened. It even says on the saved part that the document was last modified on 3/25. I have no idea what to do. I am extremely frustrated right now, especially because I was saving as I went. Why didn't it save? Is there anything I can do? There is just no possible way I can get three days worth of writing redone by tomorrow morning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Problem with my Acer Aspire 3690 laptop.?

I have an Acer aspire 3690 laptop, not sure what year because it is second hand.

It keeps turning off, now I say turning off because it doesn’t shut down normally, the screen goes black (like it is before you turn it on) but there are no words on the screen (like u see with a blue or black screen when an error has occurred). And all the light go off as well, that indicating that the laptop if off. (Lights include: power button, Wi-Fi and battery).

My laptop is plugged into the charger so I know it has nothing to do with the battery, (and when my battery is low my computer prompts me and when the battery is at a certain point the computer hibernates (but does not do this in this circumstance).

When I boot the computer after it has turned itself off I don’t get the Microsoft page: the one that tells you an error has occurred and that’s why it turned off and tells you that windows will start normally in so many seconds. It simply boots normally, like nothing happened.

So my question is, has anyone else had this problem with their computer or have they heard of anything like this before? If so and you know what to do to fix it please let me know.
