How can I see deleted Facebook messages?
Did you actually delete the message, or just archive it? If you were viewing the message and just hit the X, the message would have been archived and is retrievable. But, if you selected the message and went to "actions-->delete conversation" it's gone forever.If you did just archive the message you can go to your inbox and click "other-->archived" and it'll show your archived messages. If you fully deleted the message though, Facebook doesn't offer any recovery support to get it back. If you really want them only one way u just contact Facebook customer supports to help you and guide you in better way because a cop can access but we can't just because we don't have that authority what they have and the necessity.
When you delete conversations (messages) on Facebook, does it delete them on both sides?
I want to delete some messages on my Facebook from a couple months ago when me and my friend were fighting. I'm willing to delete the entire conversation but if there's a way to just delete separate ones, could you tell me how to do that? But if I do this, will it remove them from the other person's messages as well? Cause that's what I want to do. I'm only asking this now because I heard that Facebook recently updated the messaging system.

If I delete a private Facebook conversation will the other person be notified?
You can delete the conversation. If you do so only your copy of the Chat is permanently deleted and the other person still possess their own Copy irrespective of the changes made to yours.And there is not gonna be a Notification, no one (except you) will ever know that you deleted the conversation until you tell them.
Liability of regrettable facebook conversation, any way to delete?
I kind of went on a drunken rant in a personal message to a friend (girl) on Facebook, I didn't attack her but I insulted some other people. Then she replied, and I engaged more which means in the future, it's not like I could claim someone hacked my account or anything, it was clearly me. I'm now thinking that in the future, she could pull that out and really tarnish my reputation. I know deleting it on my end doesn't delete it on hers so, -Is there any law that would protect me from her publishing it in the future? and -If I start a new FB account with a separate email, and shut down my old account will her official record of the conversation go away with it? I feel like there should be some way to demand FB erase something you put out there. But I'm sure you sign that all away in the TOS. What do you think? Thanks!
My boyfriend wants me to delete facebook so he can trust me more?
We've had problems with facebook recently and he don't like that i have pictures on there with other boys, if i talk to them or add them. He says he can't trust me and if i delete it it will take the strain off him and make us work but at the minute we're not working cause he can't trust me. I told him Facebook isn't a big deal and he said if it isn't a big deal then delete it for my sake. He says we both have to make sacrifices for the relationship to work and Facebook is the main one, and he's deleted his Facebook for me to prove it. But i don't want to feel he's controlling me and i don't want to give in even though i know it's for his own sake and he does have trust issues and i want to be with him more then anything. It's just that all my friends are on Facebook and if i delete it, it feels like i have no social life. Who's in the wrong?
