I am an ebay seller and I can tell you that if you can cancel a purchase with money back immediately as long as the product has not been shipped.If the product has already been dispatched, you will have to coordinate with your salesperson the one you want to return and wait for you to receive the product to process the return, normally the cost of return is paid by the customer since the cause of the return is not Responsibility of the seller.If your cancellation request was until after an hour of your purchase if it is possible to cancel the purchase and return the money immediately (Neither ebay nor Paypal charge anything for the reversion of funds), If this is the case and you have communicated with your Seller and did not give you a satisfactory answer you can appeal to ebay by opening a dispute for it to be resolved.But if you have delayed too long in requesting the cancellation of the purchase the item no longer favors you because the product has probably already been delivered to the postal service.In my case I usually make the dispatch process 2 hours after my client makes the purchase to give you time in case you want to cancel the order and so you can return your money immediately, before this I send a thank you mail for your purchase and you I let you know that in the next few hours I will send you your tracking ticket, and if after that 2 hours does not cancel your purchase I make the dispatch immediately.I hope I could have contributed something to your case

If they allow it they will send you a cancellation request that you must agree to. The only thing eBay sells themselves are simple trinkets.
