Is There Any Way To Go To Another High School Than The One You Were Accepted To Even Though You

Can you go to one high school but play on another high schools sports team?

You can be Title IXd into a sport for the following reasons:Your school doesn’t offer the appropriately gendered team for you. You are legally allowed to play if you make the team. (ie, your school has men’s hockey, but you’re a strong female player)You attend a magnet school or homeschool that doesn’t offer your sport. My school didn’t offer cheerleading, so I cheered for another school. If your school doesn’t offer your sport, with consent of two principals, you can usually play for another school. That second school is typically your neighborhood high school. I know people who did that for swimming.

Do you have to graduate to go to your high school reunion?

you shld. whoever is organizing it shouldnt be discriminating between those who graduated, dropped out, passed, failed etc. it should be relivening old times. surprisingly, i attended one and the one who failed is the most successful one - and he gave us all a treat!!!

Is it possible one without any degree (other than high school) be accepted as a programmer abroad?

Extremely unlikely.

Which is better GED or High School Diploma??

A high school diploma is OVER-RATED .You'll do just fine with a GED.I dropped out of high school when i was 16 and recieved my GED 1 month later. After that I enrolled in a Junior college and graduated with an A.S. degree in mathematics by the time i was 18,which is the time i should of finished high school.By the time my friends graduated high school,I already had a college degree.Upon completion of my A.S. and a GPA of 3.8, I transferred to The University of Southern California (usc) and by the time i was 20 yrs old graduated with a Bachelor's of Science(B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering.I went on to grad school after that and by the time I was 22 I graduated with a masters in PHYSICS. I am now 23 and I work for BOEING As a Head engineer and I'm planning on becoming a proffesor at usc next year and teach physics.I am very proud of my success and all of this started with a simple GED.

How different is high school from middle school?

honestly it's the same as middle school
the only difference is that everyone looks a little older
and they may be a litte more mature but then again some aren't
and also a lot of people change in high school
& puberty and everyone's hormones are going crazy
and people are trying to impress other people and trying to be "cool" but in reality it's not important what others think about anyone, in general
that's about it

Should I go to college when I feel so uncertain about it?

I am a senior in high school. I was recently accepted into my first-choice college and awarded a good scholarship. Although I’m super grateful for the opportunity, I’m having some misgivings about going and I’d appreciate some advice. I love reading and learning on my own, and I’ve always done really well in classes with almost all A’s, but I’ve never enjoyed academic environments. I feel a lot of anxiety in school and I struggle to keep up with homework, even though I work really hard. Most of the careers I’m drawn to require vocational or trade school rather than a bachelor’s degree - plumbing, welding, food service, and other more hands-on jobs (I currently work as a prep cook in a restaurant and I love it.) My plan had been to go to a traditional college, and my dad insists that it’s more important than ever to get a college degree. Still, I worry that it’s not right for me and want to make sure I’m spending my time and money in a way that will help me. I guess my main questions are: 1) How important is a college degree? 2) Do you recommend college to someone who has no interest in a particular area of study? And 3) Are there any other options you’d recommend? Thank you so much for reading.

I think I accidentally lied on my college application.?

I really think you're ok. I think they want to know if you're CONSTANTLY being suspended or such. A one time thing? In sophomore year? Hell no, they don't care. EVERYONE gets suspended at least a time or two. The college is just trying to weed out the repeat offenders. But even that wouldn't keep necessarily keep someone out of college.

And if you really want to ease your mind, colleges only get your transcripts (meaning grades) from your high school, not your entire record. And even if they did, one time wouldn't even phase them. And I'm sure they'd figure you'd forgotten about it. I doubt it's even still in your high school record even. But again, colleges only get your grades.

Now I...ahem...spent many a day in high school detention and suspension, and I still got to and through college with no problem. Teenage years are full of turmoil and you're allowed to be human through them.

Additionally, obviously the college was impressed by you and your grades and probably extra curriculars. It'd take a lot more than one ISS day in sophomore year for them to reject you at this point.

Relax. Congrats on graduating! Enjoy your summer and get plenty of rest 'cuz you'll need it in college! LOL. Seriously, it'll be great! Best of Luck to you!
