Is There Any Way To Repair A Samsung Galaxy S3

How to repair Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 sim slot?

I just bought the note like 2 weeks ago and it works like charm. I mainly use it for studying because I am still a student, but yesterday it started not to receive any signals, and I ended up cannot use it to call or message anyone. It doesnt read the sim card and I've turned off the phone, insert the simcard ad then turn it on, and it doesnt work. I've also tried resetting the phone but it still doesnt work. I went to the shop which I bought the phone but they said it will take around 2 months to get it fixed using my warranty.

I decided to just bought a compatible sim card slot at ebay and now Im confused how do I repair this this? Can someone please help me? :) Or if possible, is there any videos on how can I do it on my own? I really do use it a lot and my final exams are coming up. If anyone knows the answers, thanks in advance ^.^

How do I fix a Samsung Galaxy S3? Everything works, but the screen is black.

Have you tried re-booting the phone? I mean shutting down the phone, removing the battery, if possible, wait a few minutes, but battery back in and turn back on. Last resort, try a reset, but that will clear out all data, but like I said a last resort. This is just from my experience.

How long does Samsung take to repair phones?

I just sent in my Galaxy S3 about 5 days ago and Samsung received it today. I'm so anxious to get my phone back! It is hard living with an old flip phone! lol anyways, how long will they take to actually repair it? The lock button hardly worked and it stuck down when I pressed it. That was why I sent it to get repaired. They will probably get to work on it tomorrow, as they have received it today. Samsung said it take 5-7 days to repair it. Is that true or will they most likely throw a new S3 in a box and send it to me? Or will it take weeks? Please help:) thanks!

How much does it cost to replace the screen on a Samsung galaxy s3?

Is there any way I can reuse my Samsung Galaxy S3 broken screen?

Is it just the glass that is cracked? Or is the display totally black or discolored? If the LCD is still good, you should be able to get a higher price for it. Refurbishing companies will buy the LCD, then put some new glass on there and re-sell it. They are asking for the entire phone, the logic board and components are actually what they are actually paying you for. Many times they can just replace the LCD & glass on the phone, then they can sell the phone.Installing a new LCD and glass on your S3 isn't too challenging and is often less expensive than buying a whole new phone. What are the different ways I can find out if my Samsung Galaxy S3 is a GSM or a CMDA?

Looking for the SIM slot might not be a good way of checking if your device is built for CDMA or GSM coverage because most smartphones have a sim slot for their mobile data. Even CDMA devices transfer data with the help of sim cards (similar to tablets). The easiest and fastest way to check to see if your phone is CDMA or GSM is to look for any network logos. Usually branded devices, both CDMA and GSM have starting screens with their network logos.Another way to check is to check your device IMEI. if your device has a 14 digits IMEI, it means that it uses CDMA technology. Also, you can check by inserting a GSM sim card and read the message you are prompted on the screen. If it shows “SIM not supported” it means that the device is CDMA.Perform a network check. This is the only method for which you must pay, but it will return information such as on what network was the phone locked.

Where can I find a touch screen replacement for Samsung Galaxy S3?

You can buy touch screens from many retailers over the Internet, even on eBay.When you take off the Galaxy S3 screen, you will find that the whole screen includes a piece of glass sitting on top of the 'touch-screen and LCD panel', and the frame holding those two component. Like this:Glass(what you have broken)Touch screen and LCD panelSupporting frameDepends on your screen replacing skills, there are 3 different types of screens for Galaxy S3 in the market, choose wisely before you make purchase:1. Front glass onlyIf you are skilful enough to be able to remove just the top glass layer without cracking the 'touch screen and LCD panel' then yes you can just buy the glass itself, it is just a piece of glass with no sensor or whatsoever on it. Cheapest option. 2. Front glass fitted with touch/LCD panelJust need to heat up the 2 top layers enough to seperate them from the supporting frame, don't need to worry about cracking the original touch/lcd panel, this product replaces both. 3. Front glass fitted with touch/LCD panel and supporting frameEasiest option, just undo screws and replace the whole 'screen', but most expensive.Last thing, the supporting frame for different S3 models are different e.g. 9300 and 9305
