Do people see me the same way as I see myself in the mirror?
No. Even the most humble of us need to look in the mirror once a day because we want to look somewhat presentable and rightly so. The fact that we have looked in the mirror everyday for all of our life, gives us a skewed image of ourselves. Because we see our self image in the mirror so often, we don’t observe that we have aged all that much. Its like you don’t notice your child growing as quickly as they do, but another family member who sees your child only once or twice a year, really notices the difference. That is why our driver’s license or our badge to get into our office, or a recent facebook photo makes us look so bad. A good quality photograph, does NOT lie, but mirrors do. Its not that the mirror is mis-representing us, but we mis-represent ourself by manipulating the mirror image in our mind. I’m not going to go into the psychology of your question as there are many answers here that do a good job of that. I am simply explaining how our mirror image looks to us as opposed to how we appear to others who are looking directly at us. If we look good to ourselves in just about every photograph, we are probably dam good looking. I am not of that group.
I see myself from second person view, is this normal?
Like whatever I do, I need to find a reason for the second person to understand, else I will find it hard to do thing, I never ever really feel myself as myself, everytime need to being watch by myself, I don't know if this so call self conscious, but i do think that this is extremely wrong type of self conscious, I really want to feel myself as myself once, but i don't know how.... just need some advise, is there any term in psychology for this kind of problem?
Do you consider yourself open minded?
Yes, I consider myself very open minded. I'm ready to listen to different views on things and will rarely exclude any possibility or refuse to reconsider without hearing others out first and considering things well. My way of thinking is that nothing is bad if it doesn't harm anyone in any way and I consider people equals and focus on the good and bad sides of each individual instead of judging people by some group they belong in. I'm not sure what you mean by sexually open minded. I think it's normal that people have different sexualities (that some are straight, some are gay, some are bi etc.) and I'm not against any sexual activities as long as there are only consenting adults involved. Personally I have my own attractions of course and am into some things and not into other things when it comes to sex and although I am willing to try something different there are certain boundaries that I wouldn't cross.
Why do people hate people who like anime?
Well some people just cant except anything that doesn't have an American style. as well as most people relate anime with cartoons and believe cartoons are for kids. but as for me i think anime is one the best thinks to enter the country.
What is your opinion on the WELFARE System?
My thick skull? Boy, you have NO idea what you're talking about. I've grown up and I've SEEN them take advantage of it. For example, my own grandmother took in a friend of hers from China. This friend is one of the laziest people you would ever meet. He applied for unemployment benefits a few years ago and has since been faking his looking for a job. He takes the money he gets and uses it on trips back to China to see his wife, whom he wishes to take back to America with him. THOUSANDS of dollars are wasted on his laziness. I don't think you have any idea of how abused the system is. How old are you? Did you even grow up in the poor neighborhoods and see this? I HAVE. I know what it's like. Welfare keeps people DOWN. YES it's necessary for some people like those you mentioned. HOWEVER, it needs to be redone completely. Too many loopholes in the system.
