Where can I rent a PlayStation 4 for 2 weeks?
I have never heard of anyone doing this. Especially for as little as two weeks. Think from the viewpoint of the renters. Why would they want to let you rent their PS4 for just 2 weeks. 20 months is reasonable because it is almost as if you are purchasing the thing, but for 2 weeks? They'd get more money just selling the thing. My suggestion to you is that you look amongst your friends. Ask around. Odds are one of them has a PS4 and they may even be willing to part with it for a week of two! If you cannot find one among your friends, look into buying one. I know you can get pre-owned ones for ~200 now, and that's not too expensive. You could just sell it once you're done with it to make back most if not all of your money! Good luck!

A pawn shop probably won't even accept the games because pawn shops are mostly for larger goods like musical instruments, jewelry, etc. If you're lucky maybe $50 per game and $50 for the console. Try selling it online - you'll get more for your money.

I was born in mid 1980s in a small town in Bihar. The following things have change drastically during my lifetime.Open Defecation - I was lucky to have a toilet in my home at time of my birth. But even a few of my relatives didn’t had toilet. So many of the people in my neighborhood used to go to railway line or fields. Now almost every house in my neighborhood have toilet and I hardly find anyone defecating in open when I go to my home town.Cooking food on firewood - There was no LPG gas connection in my house till 1994 but even till last decade, most of the food in our home was prepared on firewood. We used to run to secure (keeping it in shed) the firewood in case of rain. In our neighborhood, food was prepared on firewood but now almost all household has LPG gas connection.Barter System - I have seen glimpses of Barter System. I used to exchange one Corn Cob or some old Iron box/material for an ice cream. We sued to buy diyas and other stuff from potter by exchanging some kg of wheat. Now, the barter system has almost vanished.Joint Family - I grew up in a big house where 6 generations were living together. We were living with the family of brothers of my great grand father even though we all were cooking food separately. Yes, everyone had created some extension in their portion but still the house was common. Today even if there is join family, hardly two or three generations live in a same house.Ways of watching TV - In late 80s and early 90s, whole extended family (40–50 members) used to watch TV serials (Ramayana or Mahabharata) or matches together. Now a days, the size of family has reduced and due to time crunch and availability of so many channels, whole family hardly watches TV together.Bullock carts - My family used to have a few bullock carts for farming purpose and as a child I used to enjoy the ride on bullock cart. But everything is gone now and I hardly see bulls and bullock carts even in country side.Drinking Water - We used to drink water from wells and tube-wells. But now people hardly drink water from open wells and tube-wells and water purifier is spreading its wings in India.Way of teaching in school - The school education has changed drastically. Earlier teachers used to give heavy punishment to students and now students hardly get hard punishments.

As an ex-store manager i can answer this.Systems get re-sold two ways. First, if the system is in full working order after testing with a game and controller, the system should get sprayed with compressed air, an immense amount of dust or smoke dust can come out. Then it should be cleaned, usually by cleaning wipes, then bundled with the controller and cables, boxed, labeled and its ready for sale. These are sold as 'used consoles', not refurbished.Second, if anything is wrong, like if it's extremely dirty, or it won't read discs it should get a refurbished fee attached to the trade in where it gets sent to a third party company to test, clean, repair said system. I imagine not all systems are able to be repaired, in which case they shouldn't get sent back to stores. Every week does get these refurbished consoles in to sell already packaged. These are sold as refurbished, not used.I will note, if properly untrained, some staff may not test a system and resell it, or may not properly clean a system. Dust is a huge problem with systems, if you have a thick layer of dust inside your console and play too much, it could cause the console to overheat. Smoking inside your house creates a lot of dust build up in your console, so don't do that, at least not in the room with your console. That being said, if the employee does not clean the system properly, whether it be laziness or lack of knowledge, it's possible you may purchase a broken system, or one that will break down the road from prior misuse.I personally would prefer refurbished, they seemed to last longer and always seemed more clean, more tested.The extra warranty is usually worth it as well... at least for xbox 360s...

Its very unlikely that the price will increase much. Playstation 2 / Gamecube pricing has been stagnant for a long time, especially the PS2, due to how many units are on the market.The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 were more mass produced than nearly any other system in history, so there’s very little collection value to add to the system. Some games may see price increases as collectors items - NCAA Football 14 - is one shining example of that. But the systems themselves are unlikely to see much increase in the next 10–15 years.
