I have always been under the impression that the only way that you can get money in you PayPal balance (which is what you’d need, a positive PayPal balance, since you don’t have a bank account or credit card) is to have somebody else send money to you.So maybe you could pay a friend with a PayPal account $3 CAD each month in cash and ask him or her to send the money to your PayPal account.You’d then have enough money in your PayPal balance to send $2.00 to the U.S. (Currently $2 USD = $2.57 CAD (Taux (USD/CAD) Dollar des États-Unis en Dollar du Canada ). not saying i want to or anything but if i wanted to make a paypal account in my name, and pretend to be 18 when im actually only 15 and then to add my bank account to the paypal, would i get in trouble. i only want it so i can buy stuff online with my bank account money(i have a job) is there any way for paypal to figure it out? my mum says that after you spend $1000 they ask you to prove your age or something?

If not,your parents will know because in order for paypal to verify your account,they send a few small deposits to your bank account which you then have to report to them so they know it is a legitimate bank account. According to the rules of paypal,you are too young to have an account anyway.
