Is There Purpose For The Universe What Is Your Opinion

What do you think of the universe?

Personally, I believe the universe is spherical. Reason for this is that there are 2 things that are endlessly forming in space: spheres(planets) and disks(galaxies). Thus it would only make since that the universe itself is one of these. And it would also make since to why the universe would appear to be endless, and also why everything is slowly moving away from themselves equally.

What is the meaning and purpose of life and the universe, in your opinion?

Life is an opportunity to explore, learn, and do our best.I suggest focusing on what matters.See:  What Matters - Wikiversity

What is your opinion about Seth Lloyd's statement: "Universe is a quantum computer"?

I'd probably share his confusion about why this would be controversial. If you believe that the universe is ultimately based on quantum mechanics then it's not a big leap to thinking of physics in terms of computation. There are a few funny things about the idea that might trip you up about it though, like the question of whether spacetime is discrete or continuous. This matters because the number of possible (eigen-)states is not necessarily finite for a free quantum particle. There is a similar issue with probability amplitudes being real numbers which require infinite precision to specify (your computer stores "real numbers" using 32, 64, or 128 bits, and there is some performance-error trade off associated with the choice of precision). So there is a question of what resources the universe is using to do these quantum calculations (where resources typically refer to memory, time, or energy).Such fundamental questions are currently unresolved, but if someone really pressed you on it you can probably get away with just saying "somehow". Then remind them that these questions are not new and have been around since the beginnings of quantum theory. The physics description is dual to the computational one, so saying the universe is a quantum computer is just restating that the universe obeys quantum mechanics. Both statements essentially say the universe is doing math, and nothing about this is really controversial unless you have philosophical reservations about whether mathematics is really intrinsic to the universe or if it just happens to model it well enough for our purposes. But that objection isn't specific to the computational perspective so you have a problem no matter how you say things.

Your opinion: Is the universe the largest unit of existence?

For example, We life on earth, which is part of the solar system. That's part of a galaxy. That's part of the universe.

But quite possibly, does anyone think there's anything past the universe? Some larger unit comprising of various different 'universes'?

I think the idea behind it is similar to the Fourth Dimension +; since we live in a 3-dimensional world, we cannot comprehend the fourth dimension because we don't understand how we could possibly observe it in a 3-d world, besides allowing physics to do it for us.

In the same sense, wouldn't a larger unit past "universe" work the same way? We already have difficulty observing the entire universe, and so far observing anything past "universe" would seem theoretically impossible.

I have no idea why I ask these kinds of questions; I suppose I'm just curious.

What's your opinion on life's scientific purpose?

The Multi Universes are always expanding, probably in spirals as it occurs in natural formations like flowers. Each arm of the spiral expands forever, rich in events. On the arm were we exist, cyclic civilizations happen, progressing and regressing but always increasing human capabilities.Stone Age people could nor possibly anticipate, imagine or even understand medieval civilizations.Equally again the smartest people of medieval times, could not anticipate, conceive or understand the way that we live today, what we now do and learned so far.Equally, the greatest thinkers of today cannot anticipate, imagine or could comprehend the world a thousand years from now, and beyond.Science, Philosophy, Art, Spirituality and many other human activities will continue to expand, grow and be modified, probably forever. We know that we are ideally designed to reproduce, survive, learn, acquire and expand knowledge.Humans participate in the Forever Expanding Process! This is, for now, the inescapable, mysterious and marvellous Purpose.

Is an opinion regarding the place or purpose of humans in the universe a religious opinion?

It's a teleological construct.Religion tends to be teleological. But the two are not one to one. Aristolian empericism was primary teleological, vrs Descartes/Libnetz.In fact, confusion over that issue and it not being a vocabulary word in 11th grade or college philosophy 101 is what causes “scientism” and religion vrs science (which is empericism with telelic inquiry specifically avoided so if you make a telic statement with it…opps) debates.

What is the purpose of humanity? Do we have a function or destiny in the universe?

If it weren’t for us, I question whether any one or any thing would know that the universe exists.Do you know of any other beings that are conscious like humans are? If you do, you’re the first. Please clue the rest of us in.But if you don’t know of any other beings that are conscious like we are, and we are it as far as that goes, it follows that no one or no thing would have the capacity to know the Universe exists. Does the Universe want to be known? I dunno, but it seems to me that if no one is aware of its existence, it might as well not exist at all, so why would it bother existing?

What is the purpose of living? Are we here by accident, or is there a purpose for our existence? What is your opinion on what happens after death?

I have been hunting these questions for many years now. First I honored them with my life, now I try not to focus on them too much as I am only proving myself that I am nothing but a fool. There is no evidence to be found and it seems that there is no one who will be able to convince you 100% of any truth from this world. Almost as if veiling the truth is one of the main purpose of life itself… .Nevertheless, my feeling tells me that the purpose of living is directly related to what happens after death. If nothing happens that is perfectly fine for all of us as it means eternal peace. If there is something in fact else, that too definitely is LIFE.Are we here by accident? Strictly speacking, there actually is nothing such as a pure accident. The car accidents, windstorms, fires, even lottery, whatsoever, I would say is an accumulation of several million or trillion combination of events, made conscious or unconscious, artificial or not.By the way, is anything really non-articificial on this planet? We are all breathing a piece from earth air, we are radiating energy, we are subtly changing the gravity by our movements, affecting all creations or events on earth, does not matter if the affect is negligible or not, it still is an affect. An affect to earth and also to the universe itself, however giant it is.So what are YOU doing? Please let me know when you find something interesting to share.
