Is There Such Thing As A Rainbow Dragonfly

Rainbow trout fishing? HELP!!?

Planted/stocked trout, not like "native" (trout that have matured and have been in the waters for some time) will just about go for anything. Ya' might want to eliminate the bobber and get back with Berkley's Power Bait (trout formula). Reason for not usin' a bobber is because Power Bait floats. Choice of hooks ~ think I'd go with size 12-14 single hook, sporting a split shot (link) placed about 12-18 inches above the hook. Take a' small portion of the PB outta' the jar, place in the palm of your hands and with a circular motion form it into a small ball. Press/push hook into it, making sure hook is not showin' (don't have ta' be that critical with planted trout, nowwww with natives it's important to conceal the hook) and viola'. Reason for forming the ball is because she'll stay on the hook better when castin'. As for the line size, your good with whatcha' got. Hope this helps out a' bit <);-3

Note: Might give Velveeta Cheese a' shot, if ya' haven't already...

Added: May want to keep an open eye with the others that are nailin' them ie., find out what their usin' for bait(s) ;)...

Do Dragonflies eat Each Other?

I was wondering if dragonflies eat each other? I tried searching Google 3 times on that (both in German and English) but got nothing that was related to my question.
Yesterday, I observed as two dragonflies landed on the wall right next to me and the door. One draggonfly (the stronger bigger one, wider body, bigger head etc. Let's call it dragonfly A) was caring dragonfly B (the smaller, really thinner dragonfly with the tiny head and shoulders etc.) underneath her/him. B looked as though it was on its back and Mom said how cute! they're making love!
A seemed to be kissing B through the mouth like we humans do, but then I suddenly noticed that B's wings seemed rather weird. One of them kept turning around itself in the breaze and I thought "wow, that's weird." It almost came off, and then we saw some red dot on B's face. Blood? It looked like B was dead, as it was curled up on its back while A was eating it's face up (or so it seemed.)
Can someone tell me WHAT was really going on there?
Was A really eating up B or did it just seem like that? And WHY did A eat up B?
Mom thought it might be because A was a women and B was the man and they had just made love and then A was eating him up like the black widow spiders do.
Is this true?

Thank you already for all your wonderful answers in advance!!!!

In How many ways the letters of the word RAINBOW be arranged in which vowels are never together?

-A2A-RAINBOW consists of 7 distinct letters, in which there are 3 vowels and 4 consonants. We have to find the total number of arrangements such that the vowels are never together. It could only be possible if consonants and vowels are placed alternatively.Let us arrange the  4 consonants such that there is a slot of1 l letter between ever consecutive consonants._ C _ C _ C _ C _ There are 5 alternate slots appear in the representation but we have only 3 vowels to fit in those 5 slots.3 slots from 5 empty slots can be selected in [math]^5C_{3} \ = 10 [/math] ways3 vowels can be arranged in those 3 selected slots in [math]^3P_{3} \ = 3! \ = 6[/math] waysConsonants shown as C in the representation can be arranged among themselves in [math]^4P_{4} \ = 4! \ = 24[/math] waysTherefore, the total number arrangements of letters of the word RAINBOW such that vowels are never together = [math]\ ^5C_{3} \cdot \ ^3P_{3} \cdot \ ^4P_{4} \ = 10 *  3! * 4! \ = 1440[/math] waysI hope it helps!

How can we conclude that Dragonfly 44 is made of dark matter? Can't its lower light emission be because of fewer stars in it?

A quick look at wikipedia answers your question.Observations of the rotational speed of Drragonfly 44 suggest a mass of about one trillion solar masses, about the same as the mass of the Milky Way. This is also consistent with about 90 globular clusters observed around Dragonfly 44. However, the galaxy emits only 1% of the light emitted by the Milky WaySo the entire mass is mostly consists of dark matter.Source: Dragonfly 44 - Wikipedia

Are dragonflies closely related to the mantis?

Insects are divided into groups called Orders.
Mantises were grouped with grasshoppers and crickets (Orthoptera) an then put in their own order.

Dragonflies and damselflies are in the order Odonata. So they are not considered closely related.

What Greek god or goddess had a dragonfly for a sacred animal?

On your behalf I went to the website THEOI GREEK MYTHOLOGY and used the search term “dragonfly”.This gave me three options - a photo of a vase depicting the fight between Poseidon and Polybotes during The War of the Giants which features the image of a dragonfly in a cornerPsyche - the wife of Cupid (Eros) who is depicted as a woman with butterfly wingsDemeter - who is associated with winged serpents, her chariot was drawn by winged serpents (drakon in Greek)so my guess is that Demeter is closest but may I suggest you check this very useful website out for future use?
