Is There Train From Klia To Genting Me Thank You So Muchh.

From KL Sentral to Kuchai Lama?

Yarrr Predeep is my good grandson. He is right. It is actually nearby too.

Which one is better for a 4-5 days trip, Singapore or Malaysia (KL & Genting)?

I would offer a slightly different advice than whats been already mentioned.Firstly, definitely choose Malaysia. I am saying that just because of the budget constraint. Now to give you a bit of a nod in the right direction..Day 1: When you are booking your tickets, just make sure you book a flight that lands early morning in KL, and then a connecting flight to Langkawi as soon as you land at KL. That way you get the whole day at Langkawi to explore the island (on a bike, thats what we did) and you will be easily able to cover 2/3rd of the major attractions. Day 2: Next day do the rest 1/3rd (whoa i'm good at maths!) and by nightfall, come back to KL and hit some of the shopping destinations around town (that oughtta cheer the mrs. up!)Day 3: Now use your time judiciously. Cover Batu Caves by mid-day so that by afternoon you can head straight up to Genting. Now unless you are experienced at gambling, this place would limit itself to a (really really) long and fun cable car ride (we liked it so much that we did the ride 6 times in 1 n a half days!) and some pretty exciting (and overpriced) Malaysian street food.Day 4: Make sure you have booked a ticket for the Petronas Towers observation on this day around late evening, so that after you come back from Genting, you can do a quick tour of the KL Aquaria and then zoom straight up to the 84th floor! Rest of the evening and night, its once again time for the mrs. to shine (Oh, the horror of all those clothing stores and gazillions of shopping malls! No wonder KL is a shopping destination!)Day 5: Do some local sight seeing, carry enough tissue papers(for all the sobbing), and definitely, definitely catch the low cost train back to the airport! (believe me, i missed it and had to shelve out 5000 INR just for the express train, just to reach the airport on time!)During your stay at KL, try to use the public rail transport system, its very cheap and takes you to all the major local hopping destinations. Hope this helps! Enjoy. :)

Is Malaysia a safe country?

I will be visiting Malaysia soon. Last trip was in 2009. It was a great trip. Please permit me to share some of things I noticed:It is generally safe.Stay in a good neighbourhood - hotels are cheap. E.g., I was checking out nearby city called PutraJaya - Shangri La PutraJaya is only $70 for booking in July.I would avoid Little India / China Town at night. Pick pocketsTouts around PuduRaya can be annoying. I am from Pakistan - I am little bit used to that kind of thing. But not fun. Last trip me and my wife went to Penang. We flew in there and decided to take a luxury coach back. After sight-seeing and all we took a cab to main bus station in Penang. As soon as taxi stopped about 20 touts literally gather around my taxi. It did frightened me and my wife - but we worked our way out - saying we already got the tickets - we already got the ticket. (There was one shy / short tout - who stayed at edges of this storm-fest - later approached me politely and asked ‘Sir if you need any tickets - please let me know’Two times I felt bit scared in KL - both night times - I ran out of MYR and have to convert USD to MYR. I was near Pavillion Mall - used one Currency Exchange (sort of ATM like place) - felt many eyes on my cash - AVOID THAT. Second time we left from Pavillion Mall late and was walking towards our hotel / KLCC Park. It was very deserted road - I felt bit un-easy (perhaps - this is because of my time in Chicago - I used to take Redline from Jackson station and used to walk from Granville Station towards Western road).Communication can be a challenge if you go to small towns and cities. I got some stares and looks when we took train towards outskirts of KL - to visit a college.People are saying there is a Fake Police Scam going on in KL - so avoid being out very late at night. It usually involves Middle-eastern / Pakistani / Indian folks doing this scam. They usually have a Malay partner. Always demand identification and be vocal about it. Keep a phone with Malaysian SIM. Create short cuts to following phone numbers: Your Country’s Embassy / Police / Tourist PoliceOverall I would rate Malaysia generally safe - but advise you to keep your easy and ears open.

I would be visiting kuala lumpur, malaysia 2nd week of may... i need your help.?

wao... no worries, malaysia is a very "relax" country, you will see everybody walking very "slow" on the street compare to hongkong, shanghai or singapore, even the counter service too! if you are not rush, just plan more times here to see, taste and feel this peaceful country.

KL now is in a switching monsoon, which mean is unpredictable, it can be extreme hot in morning and heavy storm in afternoon, but the heavy rain will come and go in 1-2 hours time, it cause sudden float on last 2 week, weather forecast said will last until mid of May. So.. just bring more clothes it case you got wet!

Private or intenational company may work in Sat but most of them are not, government dept and bank are not working. Sun is shopping day!
