Is This A Contract And If I Am A Minor Can I Back Out If All Goods Are Returned

Can you fix a rental car before returning it? I scratched the rental car and am afraid the Budget company will overcharge me on this.

Why do you care?First, if you paid for the insurance, turn it in and they fix it, costs you nothingBut I’m assuming you didn’t do that, I never do as wellSecond, check your regular car insurance. They will cover you when you are driving a rental car, less your deductible. you’ll have to file a claim but in general when you are a good customer that doesn’t have lots of claims that’s not a big deal.Third, if you rented the car with most of the US based credit cards they also cover damage on rental vehicles. They will insist that you use your insurance for as much as possible but they will then cover the rest, including deductibleI’m going through this right now. I backed a rental car into a massive steel step bumper on a pickup truck. put a football sized dent in the bumper cover and a small hole in it. I’ve filed a claim with my insurance and as soon as it starts going I’ll call up the credit card guys and get that ball rolling.Oh, and when I checked the car in the person at the rental place didn’t even walk around the car to check it. I could have easily walked away and been done with it but that’s not honest. I told her that I bent the car, she thanked me and told me that the claims department would be in touch.

What happens when a leased car is returned with a scratched door?

When you lease a car, you’re expected to return it in near the same condition as you received it, with some allowance for regular wear and tear. Each leasing company has its own criteria to determine when damage is serious enough to require repair. Most often scratches have to be at least some length, and/or deep enough to expose unpainted metal, before repair is required. Otherwise it’s expected that you’ll end up with some minor dings and scratches just from using the car normally.Usually a few months before your lease matures, the leasing company will contact you to set up an appointment with an end-of-lease inspector, who will inspect your car against the leasing company’s checklist and tell you if they find anything needing to be repaired. You’re provided with a copy of the inspection, and what the leasing company will charge if the damage is not repaired. You then decide whether to repair the damage at your own expense (or through your insurance) before returning the car, or return the car damaged and pay the leasing company’s damage penalty. If you do return the car with damage, you pay the penalty whether or not the dealer actually repairs it. You’re just paying for the extra devaluation of the car over what you agreed to in the lease, the same as if you drive over the lease’s mileage limit.

Can a minor, age 15, buy a laptop at a store, and then return it for a full refund at age 17?

The general principal of law you state is correct; at least one case also considered a car (transportation) under the facts of that case a necessity. So minor could not get out of it. (i.e., like food and shelter).

Should breeder refund cost of puppy if returned?

Recently got a puppy from an AKC breeder. Puppy was almost 8 weeks old and had been the smallest in litter. Took puppy to vet after got her, she had fleas(no shock) and a parasite; vet treated for same. Due to health issues and new problem for my wife, quickly realized would not be able to handle the responsibility despite loving the puppy. Returned her to the breeder after 5 days. She would not refund cost and said would have to see if she could "re-sell" and might not be for the full $500.00 we paid or possibly no refund at all.

Is this a standard practice? Unfortunately didn't get a receipt for her.
There was no provision for refund in the original papers other than a request she be returned if new owner can't keep her so she can go to good home.

Also occurred to me she may keep her for later breeding.

Anyone have experience with this or suggestions?

Can I return my Kirby Vacuum?

Sometime last week, I got a call from someone offering free carpet cleaning. They stated that they would clean/shampoo our living room, a hallway and two pieces of furniture. I agreed to have them come by, we could use the cleaning. They came by and it's a Kirby salesperson. The demonstration goes on for a couple hours and of course, we are talked into buying this product that we can definitely not afford. He never even finished with the carpet cleaning/shampooing. He left the carpet and the sofa wet when he left. The salesperson informed my husband while he(my husband) was on the phone with someone else that the sale person had him talk to, that he would be given a copy of the contract he was to sign. After the salesperson leaves I start feeling regret towards buying this product. We never received a copy of the contract! I DO NOT WANT THIS PRODUCT. I don't even know why we agreed to buy it! Oh and he said it's a lifetime warranty, well it's not, it's only 3 years!

Dealership lost contract should i sign a new one?

Lost the contract? That's a new one!

What most likely happened is you werent approved by any lender so they need to change the terms (worse for u).

If you've been approved already then you dont have to re-sign. If u have received decline letters from banks then u would need to sign a new contract or return the car.

So it would help if u can answer if u have been approved or not.

How do you deal with parents who demand to be paid back all the money that they have spent on you since birth?

You have my sympathy. My own parents definitely earned much more than average, yet did not do what is "normal" in the US, namely save up for their kids' college education. My mother came from a poor family,  likely had a very wretched upbringing and was a very angry, resentful person. She told me "why should we pay for your education, no one paid for ours?". As it turned out, as a young teen, I received a fairly large insurance settlement from an awful accident which nearly killed me, and so was able to afford university tuition. The reaction of my mother was "Thank goodness you had all that money, how else could we have paid for your education?". I offered to lend my younger brother the money for his tuition, but he declined. Now she is in a nursing home, and probably won't be around much longer. I still love her, because she is my mother and yes she did look after us when we were young. My own son lives in western Europe, where tuition is not a big issue, and still has two years until university. I support him as best I can, because it is better to learn from others' mistakes than it is to pass them on down the line.
