Recommended Gaming Computer Setup?
As of right now I have a really bad computer in terms of graphics card and RAM. I am in the market for a better computer, something that could run games such as ARMA 3 and PUBG. I am not a major stickler on graphics quality (you get used to bad graphics when you have a computer that can only run games on minimal quality) I am not opposed to building a computer or buying an already assembled computer. My price range is about $600, can anyone recommend a good gaming computer setup (pre-built or list of parts)

How much does it cost to build/buy a decent gaming PC?
Depends on what kinds of games you want to play.My current rig ran me $1400. (4.1ghz i7, 32gb ddr4, geforce 1060 6gb GPU, SSD, 3tb drive, liquid cooling, gold rating power supply) Shes an adorable giant monster, and runs great for 3d rendering as well (plus I got a nice big case, so I can hide behind her).I’ve gone into detail on this on other questions before and had people pitch absolute screaming fits insisting that you can build a great gaming machine for around $400. Technically true, although I wouldn't touch some of the games i play right now at the settings im running with some of the parts they’ve listed (and wouldn't trust some of the sellers listed either).Really, though, you can build one hell of a nice machine in the $1k to $2k range if you’re careful with what you put into it. I’m sure you can build an acceptable rig for less, too, just… it will take a lot more in depth knowledge and fiddling (and probably some overclocking).

Decent middle-of-the-road gaming desktop?
I know you expressed no interest in building one. But for a grand, build one and have the components you want in it. Its not difficult in the slightest. OEM computers sell you junk loaded with bloatware, low end components or just not optimally configured all for the same price you couldve built a high end gaming rig (or had someone else build it). Decent gaming rig under $600: i3-2220 - $100 microcenter.com or an i5 for ~ $120. H61 MoBo - ~$50 - $100 4gb or 8gb of RAM - ~$25-$50 1TB HDD Sata3 - ~$50-$75 DVD/RW drive - $14 and a computer case that includes atleast a 400w psu. ~$35 - $50 This is just an example. But it gives you an idea of what you can do for the money youre willing to drop. Include windows for $100 and you have a midrange gaming setup with money to spare for the moitor, keyboard and mouse and anything else youd like to throw in, like a graphic card.
