Why do some people deny the fact that Islam is the truth, and the perfect religion?
Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, people are becoming more wise over the time and realize that Islam is the truth from our Almighty God, Allah(SWT). Christianity is declining in terms of growing in population, more and more people revert to Islam because the real message of Prophet Jesus(peace be upon him) has been changed over centuries. it is stated in the Holy Qur'an: ''[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.'' This is the God who created us, and to Him we will return. It's strange why some people(mostly atheists) deny the fact that Islam is the true religion and high above other religions because to us(mankind) has been revealed the literal word of God, Creator and Fashioner of all that exists. Us muslims respect other religions, we condemn terror and hatred, because this is not the right path and those who terrorize others will be in depths of Hell as Allah Almighty mentioned: ''Whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.'' Do not say come with stupid answers like ''Islam is terror, it oppresses women'' because that is entirely not the truth because Islam is the perfect religion chosen for mankind. Salam.
Is it a fact or an opinion if Islam is a religion of peace or not?
Here is a shocker for you - Islam is not a religion of peace. Many muslims nowadays try to promote Islam as something like yoga sessions, that if you get into it you will achieve some sort of nirvana, all your problems will disappear overnight and you will spend the rest of your life in peace and only peace.Many say, Islam means peace and they say the word itself is derived from salam, which means peace btw. Wrong again. Islam means submission and the word is derived from Istislam.So what now, no peace in Islam?Yes there are rituals and beliefs in Islam that will bring you joy and happiness. But that is not the main reason islam exisits. Islam is a way of life prescribed for the humankind by the GOD.There are many facets of islam, some of which are violent. For example lets say the punishment for adultery. Very harsh. If a married muslim commits adultery, the punishment is stoning to death. Punishment for stealing is cutting the hands off. Punishment for drinking alcohol is getting whipped.Similarly there are wartime rules, rules for governance, for business etc. There are rules pertaining to the family issues, inheritance, personal hygiene and you name it. Islamic shariah has rules, commands, recommendations for almost all aspects of life.Now there is a purpose for these rules, which is to build a stable society. The more a society is closer to the rules of shariah more peaceful it becomes. Now please do not bring up modern day muslims. Muslims nowadays do not follow even 10% of what islam prescribes. No country in the world has shariah as constitution.But when muslims used to follow their religion, they did build some awesome societies and civilization. And people did live peacefully in those societies.
