Good Movie Plot Ideas?
I've always thought about this movie in my head... called Hitchhike..... It's about a hitchhiker who turns out to be a serial killer in a secluded town. A group of college kids gave him a ride. They all die one by one. The hitchhiker is young and good looking so no one suspects that he is dangerous. At the end only one of the girls survived and she finds out who he really is.

haha i love sims!! maybe you could make it so the main character (teenage girl, who i will call TG1) goes to her first day or something and after like a month in school, and theres a new girl in her class, who looks just like her (TG2). The girls become friends and discover they are twins. They confront there parents, who are seperated and the parents hate each other and TG1 dads doesnt like TG1 going over TG2s house because TG2's mom is there, and the same way with TG2's mom. This is a problem because they are best friends. They sneak around and hang out, and get tired of it and are fed up with there parents.. you can continue from there. if you use this and put it on youtube can you tell me somehow? hope this helps:)

First of all: you have no good idea. You have an interesting idea at best.Why’s that?Because ideas ‘per se’ have no ‘inner’ value for the big screen industry. It’s the way ideas are written that makes a script better than another, not the idea ‘per se’.Now comes the main part of my answer.The most difficult part of selling ideas to Hollywood, is talking with the people working there. In other words, what really matters, is being inside Hollywood already.Why’s that?Because producers are not searching for ‘good ideas’… Not at all. They are searching for something entirely different… And it changes every day.They are searching for ‘this and that’, meaning something that will make them do a lot of money NOW, and depending on the everchanging market. And if you don’t know:1) what they are searcing for2) and what they are searching for RIGHT NOW… they will trash your idea for sure even if it’s an ‘interesting’ idea.And again, don’t forget that for ANY idea to be ANY good, it has to be written extremely well, no matter it if it’s just a plot, a script, a short tale or a whole novel… no one will ever enter inside your head and see your idea the way you see it. No one but your friends and family only, because they know you very well.But I don’t think they work in the industry.
Is this a good idea for horror/ slasher movie ?
First of all, i would like to say that you have a nice sense of creativity. The story is very good. The way "Holiday" kills. It is nice. But, I think the ending was not that great. I didn't like the idea of the friend helping the grandmother just for fame. Maybe you can say that the friend was actually a bit mental or something like that. Maybe you can say the friend was the grandmother's unknown son or grandson. Or else the friend was the father's unknown son. Another thing I felt is that there was too much killing in the beginning. Maybe there was no need for an older brother. Overall, I think the story is great. I'm just giving opinions. I'm not an expert in script writing. I know nothing about it. It's just my opinion. I have great content for a script, I need a writer. It goes like this;In the spirit of pulp fiction, a true story, comedy/drama.My father, Jewish mafia from Providence RI moves to California in 1970. My mother was tragically murdered a few weeks later in a hospital. My father remains a drug dealer in the SF Bay Area through the 70's and 80's. Elements include Scientology, hippies, opportunists, a lot of secrecy, hypocrisy, and privilege. A New York deli my father opened with his junkie sister and brother-in-law.If I am the main character, I was a young child growing up completely oblivious/clueless. I started an international business and a family with a conceded drug dealer/loser. Fast forward, divorce first husband and meet a man online. We fall in love and find out a year later that he was a hells angel hired to murder my first husband (a narc) long before we met.The details are real and no writer could ever conceive of this plot or the endless scenes and details. The story would be a smashing success if written and performed correctly. It has to be a comedy.Any writers out there interested?

What are some good ideas for making a horror movie?
First: Do you understand that a sociopath is different from a psychopath? The person would behave entirely differently depending on which s/he was. There is a big difference. Actually, someone sociopathic would be interesting. Occasionally, there are movies who choose someone we truly wouldn't suspect. But, that's trickier than a plain ol' psycho. Rewatch a lot of horror films, and keep notes on what shows up over and over. Then, avoid the obvious. There ARE movies that use different tricks to surprise us. Try to figure out what makes them work. As for spooky music, you can't do better than the albums of Midnight Syndicate. They're described as soundtracks for horror films that haven't been made yet.
