Is This A Good Packing List For A 16 Day Summer Road Trip For A Girl

Help me make a wild summer to do list?

This is what I did all of my summer 2009:

-Drive naked! (this is so much fun I did this is a jeep with no roof before lol)

-Get so stoned, eat a crap load, pass out!

-Go to a park that turns the sprinklers on at night. The water will hit the slides and toys and its like a mini water park.

-Hit up local concerts in the park.

-Get stoned before you see an epic/scary movie. So much freaking fun lol.

-Get something pierced without your parents knowing.

-Drive through an orchard at night and scare the sh^t out of your friends.

-Skinny dip in a neighbors pool.

-Sneak out a lot to mid night premires of movies or see one movie but stay in the theater all day and see a bunch on the price of one ticket lol.

-Go to the beach for the day.

-Drastically change you look one day. Hair cut, tattoo, piercing, dye hair a cool color.

-Get wasted A LOT lol

-Flock someones lawn. Thats when you buy those pink plastic lawn flamingos and stick them all over someones lawn.

-I can buy thousands of surplus bouncy balls on google for very cheap. I'm sure theres gotta be some use for them haha. let them loose in a store, in someones pool, car, anywhere.

Hope I helped. I was more of the prankster/sneaking out type of kid. I always got stoned, slept all day and was out all night. Idk if you are like this but good luck. I miss those days!

What are all the things I should pack for a 3-week trip to Europe if I want to travel light?

What do you absolutely need to bring?your passport your credit /debit cards any prescription meds Everything else you can buy almost anywhere in the world. That said I usually take a little more, though I rarely check a bag (and in my part of the world carry-on is limited  to 7kg/ 15lbs I basically pack: 5 days worth of underwear 3 bottoms (skirts/shorts/trousers depending on the season) 5 tops (shirts or blouses) swimsuittablet and/or phone minimal toiletries pair of walking shoes pair of sandals sometimes something more dressy If it's going to be cold I'll  take a jacket or merino mid-layer, and maybe buy a hat and gloves if it gets really cold.

What should I pack for a trip to Ladakh?

Its depends on When, Why and How are you planning to travel. When ?If you are planning to take the road then let me tell you the highway from Manali-leh will be open only Between June end and early Oct. Rest of the time, the roads will be totally covered by snow so it will be closed. You need to take a flight from either Srinagar or Delhi to leh.Leh in December:Leh during summers :Why ?If you are planning to just get cozy and relax for sometime then carry jackets, sweaters and caps as much as possible. Book a nice Home stay/Resort/Room and enjoy the weather. Like this :If you are seeking out for adventure then be prepared for any sort of weather that strikes anytime. Carry less baggage if possible as you will be hopping places very quickly. Like this :How ?If you are planning for road trip then travel as light as possible because you need to tie it to the bike/car you will be travelling. More the weight, more trouble it will be to ride/drive.Carry all the necessary tools required to fix any sort of issue with the bike/car.Carry to carry more fruits, water, biscuits and power bars. No need of Lays, Kurkure and any sort of Junk. At the end, its total waste. If possible (Highly recommended), carry a All-Weather jacket which will help you in rain cold and dust.Carry Stockings, Undergarments and thermal wear as many as possible. Chuck those designer tees or shirts, they are total useless here. You need to wear a thermal coated by a All-Weather jacket. That’s more than enough to keep you warm and fit all the time.If you travel light then you will be in this condition :But if you are careless and try to throw in every possible stuff you owe then this would be your condition :Let me know if you have anything else in your mind.Happy Travelling :)

Would a long road trip damage my car?

Rentals break down, too!

As long as your car is maintained well it should have no problems. I usually take my vehicles to a good mechanic to go thru it before I go, that way if I have issues that need to take care of, like wheel bearings that need packing, brakes that need replacing, coming up on your timing belt replacement (THAT will kill your trip PDQ!), recharging your AC, swapping tires (or inflating your spare!!)...

I've had rental cars take a dump. NOT a fun experience, because you lose a couple days getting your car swapped out, and if you get held overnight somewhere you get reimbursed later, not now, for lodging or food... No, have your Honda gone thru and use it. PLUS you know the car... you know the mileage you can get from it... all the quirks.

Saying that - IF you've been thinking about BUYING a NEW CAR, and you want to see if you can live with the car you want... then by all means do the rental thing. Did that on a Fiat Qubo (in Italy - I hope they sell them here someday, AWESOME box cars) and sold me on the car... Just remember rentals can break, too, and figure out what you'll do - ahead of time - if it does.

My friends and I are planning a 4-day trip to Shimla, Manali and Rohtang pass. What are some places that we should visit? What are some adventurous sports and their prices? What route should we follow if starting from Delhi?

Thanks for the A2AStarting from Delhi. I rented a Swift Dzire at 250 km per day at rs 9/km and 250 rs per day driver allowance because we didn't want to waste time waiting for public transport.Rent a vehicle/self drive from Delhi to Manali ( 12 hour drive) via Chandigarh. Leave by 4-4:30 Am to avoid traffic.Day 1:Reach Manali by 5 PM assuming you don't find traffic. Roam around the local cafes as you might be tired due to the travelling at Mall Road ( surprise , surprise). Day 2:Adventure sports are done in Solang Valley, some 5-6 Km from Manali. Paragliding is a must. I wasn't able to do rafting due to slightly higher river level though I did do the rope way( you need to cross the river on a rope) . Should cost you about in total of 3-4 K per person and do visit sulphur bath in old Manali to unwind. There's always a German bakery in hill stations.Day 3:To go to Rohtang pass, you need to hire a local vehicle to go reach there. I suggest keep warm clothes for the same. It should cost about 2.5K , but do try to bargain. They just might bring it down to 2. Expect to reach in 2 hours but since you're going in peak season, it just might take slightly more than that.Day 4: Leave early from Manali to Shimla via Kullu and Mandi. Do stop at Manikaran if you wish to travel to Manikaran sahib/ hot springs.Expect to reach in 8 hours.Since I've not been to Shimla, I can't tell much about the adventure sports, but I'm assuming it won't be any large difference in Manali and Shimla.Spend a day in Shimla and do touristy things like buying local stuff and eating at local joints. if you find the place interesting , spend the night, else you could leave at night and reach Delhi by morning.( day 5)since 4 people are going , it should cost about 10-15K max per person including lodging( not a 5 star). Hope the answer helped.Happy Travelling. :-)

How much clothing should I pack for a week of travel?

I usually travel for 2+ weeks at a time, with just a carry-on suitcase, and I only take 1 weeks’ worth of clothing with me when I do. That’s because I do laundry during the trip once or twice, either sending it out or washing up in the hotel bathroom. For a 1 week trip, I would recommend taking 1 weeks’ worth of clothing to avoid having to do any laundry. You can easily fit that much in a carry-on if you use a compression bag, and it’s not an unreasonable amount.I especially love these Eagle Creek compression bags.I recommend looking at your itinerary and imagining what you will want to wear as you get ready in the morning for each day’s events. Get the weather forecast or get an estimate based on historical data if your trip is far out in the future. Really close your eyes and picture every outfit for every day. Sounds weird, but it helps me!You’ll probably need 1 shirt per day, but bottoms (pants, shorts, skirt, etc.) can often be reworn.1 weeks’ worth of clothing for me would be:6–7 versatile shirts2–3 pairs of pants, shorts1–2 pairs of comfortable, supportive shoes (including the one you wear on the plane)1–2 night gowns/sleep shirts7–8 pairs of underwear7–8 pairs of socks (fewer if you plan to wear sandals frequently)1–2 bras1 swimsuit (if you plan to do any swimming)In case it helps, I also created a packing checklist that shows not just a) what to take, but also b) how much, and c) in what luggage and packing gear, and d) how to organize it all.
