Is putting honey on salads unhealthy?

I like to add honey to my salads because other salad dressing are full of calories and I don't really like the taste of them. Is putting honey on my salads unhealthy? Is it just like eating sugar? I also like to add honey to my sandwiches, teas, and other stuff I can't think of right now lol.

Is chicken salad an unhealthy choice?

I doubt 1 time a week is all that bad if you are keep the rest of your diet "clean". Chicken Salad is made with Mayo..which is high fat. Crosissant are also higher in fat than plain bread(but oh so yummy).
I do belevie that this is as bad as eating a fast food burger on.

How unhealthy is McDonald's Salad?

I worked at McDonald's and I'll tell you how unhealthy they are. Your chicken is deep fried and kept in a dirty heat sleeve ( a plastic bucket in effect that holds all the juices ). Your salad dressing is left on the counter in syringes and the lettuce is browning yet will still be served. They aren't healthy.

Chicken Caesar Salad - is it healthy?

I'm trying to change my eating habits, to something A LOT more healthier. And for lunch on tuesdays, thursdays, and friday I eat a big bowl of a salad consisting lettuce, (white) chicken breast pieces sprinkled with pepper, topped with some parmesan cheese and caesar dressing.

Is eating Caesar salad healthy?

A classic Caesar is a salad of romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper. I suppose this really depends on your definition of healthy as well. The only questionable additive in that is croutons, because refined wheat is not great for anyone, but a few croutons won't hurt. So, if that's what you call a Caesar salad, then yes, that's healthy. Take a look at the back of the bottle of dressing you got from the grocery store claiming to be Caesar, if it's got something unlisted from above and oddly chemical sounding, maybe you should walk away.

Would eating just salads and fruit be unhealthy?

Thanks for the A2A.It easily can be unhealthy. As mentioned by others, it really takes a great degree of consideration and studying to make sure you are covered in terms of micronutrients and vitamins, proteins (especially essential aminoacids), fats and calories, to make it healthy. Especially for children it is very very important to take care of this - It is not at all rare to see children's development being compromised or crippled by their parent's ideas of "healthy" - because they need so much more of all the "growth" stuff and "brain" stuff to grow than adults do. So what is healthy for the adult might not be sufficient for children. We even children in danger sometimes. Again, not as rare as we would like... But luckily most parents (or just people) who makes this choice, makes it because they really care about and know about food and nutrition - and so are capable of navigating this challenge. And too be frank - it doesn't take that much to become more healthy than all those who eat / feed their children with fastfood, prefabricated food, food with only white bread, no whole grain, no fruits and veggies etc.. It is difficult to live more unhealthy than them on a salat/fruit diet. Yoohooo, perspective! But the easy choice: Eat good quality food. Eat meat, but little. Eat bread, but whole grain, best is rye or the like. Eat salads, boiled/roasted veggies (better for the stomach than always eating raw veggies). Eat fruit, but do not only eat fruit (too much sugar). Eat fats, but when you have the choice, choose the healthier oil. Only use butter when you want the butter taste as a treat. A little of everything, not too much of something - that is what makes for the easiest healthy diet.

Is eating salad every day for dinner unhealthy?

No. According to many surveys, for dinner, more fruits and vegetables should be taken instead of meats. So eating salads for every day’s dinner is good for your health and keeping shape if you are losing weight. If you eat salads as part of your diet plan, be careful that maybe your green salads contain high calorie. Vegetables are healthy but it doesn’t mean they all are of low calorie. It’s advisable for you to check the related calorie of ingredients of your salads, making clear that what kinds of vegetables are suitable. Finally, enrich your salads by low-calorie meats, fruits and moderate sauce. In fact, some meats are good for your health and won’t make you fat such as chicken breast, which are called as “Low protein food” or “White meat”. Why are McDonald's salads considered unhealthy?

McDonald’s salads aren’t unhealthy, the dressings are. The salads are just vegetables, the chicken is kind of salty now that I think of it, but the dressings are all salt and oil. If you go light on the dressing, you shouldn’t have much to worry about.
