How easy or common is it for an employee at Facebook or Google to switch teams internally?

Facebook encourages switching teams/projects more aggressively than any tech company I've heard about.  People choose their team after a six week bootcamp, but if an engineer decides that another team is a good fit six months later, the process is usually very streamlined for their transition.  I've seen this with many new engineers.Personally, I've worked on a ton of teams in my four years (Search, Platform, News Feed, Messages, Engagement, Growth and a bunch of projects that don't fall under any of these teams: commenting, liking, Bing FireHose, mobile/email  commenting, notifications, Feed Importer, Live Stream Box) and I've always found the transition is supported by both my existing and future managers.  While I think this amount of team/project breadth is somewhat rare, there are many engineers who have worked on more than one team per year and often two or sometimes three at the same time.  The one important caveat I'd add to this is is that taking advantage of this freedom requires a big support commitment from engineers, because unlike at many companies, switching teams rarely means leaving your former responsibilities behind, especially for smaller or cross-team projects that don't clearly get absorbed into future functionality.  Transitioning projects and features to the most relevant team doesn't always happen when an engineer switches teams, especially since a reasonable amount of important functionality on Facebook doesn't directly fall under any one product team.

EASY grade 9 science! can you find chemical names, common names, common usages for these molecules?

CH8N4 is properly called 2-Aminoguanidine. As Pimagedine it is used to treat kidney disease in diabetics. (I have to admit this all comes from Wikipedia)

As far as I remember Hydrogen Sulfide is a bit too nasty to be used for much. It is used about the lab for making metal sulfides and a lot is used industrially making Sulfer but I can't recall any common uses.

CH2O is methanAl not methanOL (that is CH3OH). Its common name is formaldehyde and it is probably best known for being used in embalming and preserving tissue samples.

I need a fast easy way to find the greatest common factor of numbers.?

Hi,

Factor each number into its prime factors. Then look for factors that are in every list. If you multiply together those common prime factors, that gives the greatest common factor.

Suppose you want the GCF of 36, 60, and 156. Their prime factors are:

36 - 2 x 2 x 3 x 3
60 - 2 x 2 x 3 x 5
156 - 2 x 2 x 3 x 13

All 3 lists have 2 x 2 x 3 = 12, so 12 is their GCF.

I hope that helps!! :-)

What are some common and easy examples of deviant behaviors?

Firstly, not all deviant behaviour is criminal, though all crimes are deviant. So here are some examples:Deviant crimesmurdertheft(Sexual) assaultDeviant Behaviour (not criminal)- that which is seen as deviant is dependent upon what a society believes to a violation of that which is seen as sacred or moral in that societylying (not to be confused with perjury), manipulationDisplaying a gross lack of table manners- Picking your nose, passing gas, picking food out of your nails, etcPornography- deemed immoral for its objectification and brutalization of womenPremarital sex- in some countriesPromiscuity/ Polygamy- violates the purity myth, and the “sanctity of marriage”, and challenges sexual double standardsRecreational use of drugs (even marijuana)….I'm sure that there are many more, but this was all that came to me, I hope that this helps!

Least common multiple?15 problems 10 easy points! HELP?

I edited this. My former answer was wrong!

To get the LCM, break down each number into its prime factors. Then choose the maximum number of occurances of each factor.

3. 6,8
6 = 2*3, 8 = 2*2*2
LCM = 2*2*2*3 = 24 (2 appears 3 times in 8, 3 once in 6)

4. 6,21
6 = 2*3, 21 = 3*7
LCM = 2*3*7 = 42

8. 45,75
45 = 3*15 = 3*3*5
75 = 3*25 = 3*5*5
LCM = 3*3*5*5 = 225

Do the rest yourself using my examples.
