Is This Braon Tumor Help ;

SO scared of a brain tumor! Please help!!?

Ok, if you do have a tumor, the thyroid problem would mean its on your pituitary. Most people have pituitary tumors and don't even know it. They are almost always benign (not cancerous). If it is growing, that might be causing some of your problems (headaches, dizziness). Has the Dr. tested your cortisol? If that is low it would explain your dizziness and would point to a pituitary problem. At that point you would need a pituitary MRI. Its about the size of a pea so a CT would not show much. Don't worry yourself to death. It is treatable if this is what you have. Also, the tight muscles in your neck is probably caused by your headaches, or the other way around. If you are too stressed out you will get headaches. And headaches will stress you out also.

Pls help! 15 yr old girl scared brain tumor?

so for the past like 2 months i have this headache which is only there when i shake my head up and down. it all around my head - sometimes one side, then another, then not there and in another place! each head shake brings on one kind of throb. i didnt shake it for a while and i did recently and im pretty sure the pain has gotten better. it seemed to be localised to the right side of back of my head but its always in different places. now i have a really blocked nose, blocked ears (from nose blowing?), and i had a sore throat. i think i picked this up at school or from a sibling, but i was wondering sometimes i feel off balance a bit. is that because of my blocked ears because of my sinus infection or whatever i have? or is it brain tumor! i also felt naseous for a few mins a couple of times yesterday, and my appetite isnt very big. im pretty sure i have anxiety because i even think now i see light flashes! im short sighted but i think what i am seeing is fine and my anxiety is just freaking me out!

My boyfriend might have a brain tumor or cancer. How can I help him and how can I deal with this?

Very sad to hear this but i believe you boyfriend is in a depressing situation and what he needs is moral support you have to stay strong and give him confidence,it is the main part ,moral support plays a very important role in such situations ,and coming to your side have faith in the supreme power or god of your choice, meditate for 30 minutes before going to bed at night and visualise hime discharging healthy from hospital and enjoying his life with you, this is called law of attraction and is proven to give positive results, try thisAnd after he recovers he requires fresh juices and other stuff , be ready to help him and try to make him avoid cooldrinks

Brain tumor? Please help?

A brain tumor does not cause a "bump" on your head. A brain tumor is INSIDE your skull, in your brain.
From what you said about your mom, her headaches are probably caused by the stress and frustration that she is constantly under.
In any event, she needs to see a doctor and find out if she has a tumor, or if she doesn't. Then you'll know - one way or the other - and you can put your mind at rest.
A brain tumor is not necessarily a death sentence. Many times, they can be successfully removed by surgery.
Remember the actress Elizabeth Taylor? She had a brain tumor removed in 1997, and lived a full life for 14 more years before she passed away from congestive heart failure in 2011.

Ibuprofen and brain tumor?

Hi,

I was wondering if one had a brain tumor, would ibuprofen relieve the pain and make the person feel normal (no pain, etc.)? I am worried that I might have a brain tumor (headaches, pressure, nausea, etc.) I posted a question about brain tumors earlier (can be found here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArMzdmbdkXNZYo9u1h1JNZzsy6IX?qid=20061031170758AApy7Fm). Whenever I take two ibuprofens, the headache/pressure seems to go away and I feel less nauseous. Does it sound like I am just having anxiety, migraine, or tension headaches?

Thank you

How can radioisotope help a doctor to diagonise brain tumour?

Radio-Isotope scan basically come sunder nuclear medicine. In which the patient is injected with a radioactive dose and then the activity of this dose is studied with the help of special imaging equipment/ special camera. It seems similar like MRI, but the underlying technology and the methodology of use is different. Radioisotope scan does not use magnetic field for its scan.So in the case of the brain tumor or otherwise, the dose is injected in the vein of the patient’s arm of the patient and depending on the area of diagnosis, asked to wait. The chemical localizes at a particular tissue or organ, depending on which radioactive chemical is used. It then emit small beams of rays (gamma rays) , which can be identified by the camera (gamma camera). These scans are quite exact to show the size/shape/ function of the target organ, after being injected with the chemical. The activity of the chemical is scanned and observed on the screen attached to this imaging camera.Unlike MRI, which makes the patient enter the tunnel in a lying position, Radioisotope imaging is done while the patient is sitting or lying down without entering the tunnel.Hope this helpsPS

What do brain tumor headaches generally feel like?

Seizure is soooo not the first of the symptoms. It's one of the last before you end up in the ER. The headaches I experienced were just general headaches, just a little bit worse, but not enough to worry about. Some aleve and my headaches went away. I only had one migraine and that was two days before my one seizure. Wicked deja vu is one I went through. Also my aura manifested as a feeling in the pit of my stomach that something was about to happen.. That was really weird. I didnt have a loss of balance, didn't bump into walls or puke my guts up, as many will tell you are symptoms. My vision didn't get worse; I didn't have numbness in my limbs.

Geneegee is a loon and I've heard that story on here before... I mean, seriously, I've always eaten mangoes. Lotta good it did me lol
