Is This Considered To Be Jealous

Why is jealousy considered evil?

Jealousy, like any other emotion has it's place in our vast array of emotional responses. ALL emotions can be problematic when there is little or no control over them.  Assigning words like "evil" to an emotion is counter-productive.  It's a reaction to a set of circumstances and whether it is deserved or undeserved, it can become a problem. Like any problem it's should be addressed and dealt with appropriately. If a spouse is NOT paying enough attention to their own spouse but heap loads of attention on an outsider, jealousy will arise.  I would have a hard time calling the one left out "evil" and the one who is heaping loads of attention on an outsider, it depends on the outsider and why. Again, I won't call these people "evil".In my experience, when people call a thing "evil", 99 times out of 100, they aren't really looking hard enough at the bigger picture.

Is jealousy considered a selfishness?

To me it seems like there is a wanting in the person, which may be for intimacy, trust, closeness, belonging or whatever. Which is a genuine need. And it’s not being met. Then, depending on the situation, maybe this person sees someone else having this need met or they have projected the need onto a particular person. In any case, the person feels the need but are not conscious of it and its not being met.Their need is not selfish, their strategy for trying to meet it is not working. On top of this, to call what they’re feeling selfish is to further invalidate their need. Its a judgement, which may come from outside opinions or from them sensing that their strategy isnt working.

Is copying people considered jealousy?

not necessarily. People copy what they like, so jealousy wont be a part of that.
Jealous people would look for a chance to criticize what u have instead of copying.

Why is jealousy considered a sin by some cultures?

A sin is anything that corrupts the spirit or corrodes the way you behave, think, or interact with others in a harmful manner. We’re meant to engage this life with a peace of mind and love that brings out the best qualities in us. And jealousy prevents you from being able to be on that level.Imagine trying to interact with someone when they have more money than you and it shows. When talking to them you'll only focus on their money and possesions and what you don't have instead of pulling everything from that interaction you can. It distracts our minds from our goals and blessings. Imagine being jealous of someone's girlfriend or boyfriend. You'll have a hard time appreciating someone in your life or even finding someone because your mind is centered around what they have or who they are instead of what you have or need.

What animal are considered to represent jealousy?

Envy (and jealously), is often represented by a snake. This could be from the story of Adam and Eve in the bible when the “snake” tricks them into eating the apple. There are other examples of this in other cultures as well:[1] In astrology, the Snake is often a sign of possessiveness, envy, wise and firmness.[2] Also, in dreams it’s said that if you dream of a snake, it’s usually a sign of jealously in your real world relationships.Footnotes[1] Snake Love Compatibility, Relationship, Best Matches, Marriage[2] When You Dream About Snakes, Start Looking for Jealousy

Is it considered effeminate of a man to fight with & be jealous of a woman?

No it’s not effeminate at all, in fact it’s quite the opposite. This is typical behavior of insecure, controlling, macho narcissists. This type of behavior can lead to abuse whether it be physical, mental, or emotional abuse. They’re red flags that shouldn’t be ignored and if counseling is not an option it’s probably best to leave the relationship.

Women: do yo consider yourself a jealous wife?

Insecure yes. jealously is only caused if someone wants to make you jealous. Or you have trust issues you need to work on.

And love does not produce jealousy.

being cheated on
lied to
manipulated
codependent
insecure

those 5 are some of the reasons jealousy can be triggered.

love doesnt cause jealousy

some guys just have a preference for hair color.. my boyfriend likes brunettes.. my stepdad likes redheads.. it doesnt mean that they like you any less becus ur hair isnt that color.. my mom has brown hair nd my stepdad thinkgs redheads r hott but obviously still loves her and would want her to have red hair becus thats not her.. ur husband accepts u for who u r inckuding hair color or he wouldnt have marries you. it would be a bigmistake to try changing your looks just to meet some celebrity ideal that he likes.. if he thinks taylor is hott who cares.. shes famous and probably too young for him anyway.. i dont care if my bf thinks famous ppl are hott because i think plenty of famous guys are hott too.. theyre famous so thats fine bc theyll nbever have a chance w them.. however i would tell him that u dont appreciate him saying ur friends are hott. that gives u every right to be jealous but i really would worry about it too much,, make a joke of it and buy him the new taylor album here http://www.taylorconnect.com/profile/store/9653 jealousy is completely normal.. theres nothing wrong with u

Are Finnish people jealous of not being considered Scandinavian or are they proud to be different from Scandinavian people?

“Scandinavia” is primarily a linguistic term (and sometimes a geographical term). I’m not aware of anyone being particularly “proud” to be speaking whatever language they grew up with; everyone has a native language. “Jealous” arguably makes even less sense. The term we use up here when talking about absolutely anything except language is “Nordic”, and Finland is just as Nordic as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. When you talk about politics, social structure, economics, culture, basically anything that matters in the modern world, there is no significant difference between Finland and the Scandinavian countries whatsoever. We are aware that the distinction between “Scandinavian” and “Nordic” is a bit esoteric for English-speakers (although we’ll be buggered if we can figure out why), so we translate mentally: if you say “Scandinavian” when you are talking about police, healthcare, or public transport, we realise that you really meant “Nordic” and we’ll include Finland. It’s a bit like some non-British will use “English” to also mean Scottish and Welsh. It’s just a bit of ignorance. Except that while it might be rare to find a Scotsman who is genuinely offended by the mistake, when being made by a foreigner, you can’t find anyone in the Nordic countries who gets offended.
