Is This Craigslist Job A Scam

Is this craigslist job a scam?

http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/sls/4449432419.html

I can't seem to find an actual website to the company in THAT location. when i searched it, it pulled this up. http://www.kirby.com/distributor/prime-systems/

All there is about prime systems is the address and number.

But I called the number and set up an interview. I just hope I'm not walking into a scam.

Maybe this is some fake company/ job interview to pitch their vacuum to me? lol

Craigslist job scam or sort of legit?

I did a job for about a month on and off so about two weeks. It is scetchy to me but I also feel like it might not be a scam. I got paid through PayPal and never got asked for an ID or anything like that. Possible scam? If I use the money it doesn’t let me. But is it possible to send fake money into PayPal? The job is posting ads on Craigslist for houses and apartments.

Does this Craigslist Job seem like a scam to you?

Stay clear from this ....

How do you report Craigslist scams?

You can report to the website admin, but they will just suspend the scammer’s account. Your money is still gone. Craigslist as well as other ads listing websites is a home for scammers because of the wide variety of services offered there and the ridiculously low fees to post these ads. I have been scammed twice on craigslist and neither craigslist nor the authorities could do anything about it.I was lucky however, to meet a cyber specialist who helped me recover my money. All he did was collect the payment receipts and trace the payments. When he found what he was looking for, he petitioned their bank. Eventually, my money was returned to me. Financial institutions do not like courts. They will do anything to protect their reputation. This is a loophole that one can exploit if you know what to do. If you are a victim of a craigslist scam or any kind of scam, you should contact Brian Anfield immediately. He is also on Quora. Just type his name in the search field at the top of this page. Goodluck.

Craigslist Scam? Payroll?

Hi.. a few weeks ago I responded to an add on craigslist about payroll. We conversed over email, then later on started talking on yahoo. The SN was shipping company. Supposedly shes a certified payroll specialist, she even gave me her registered ID for Dawson Fabrics. Anyways. so she had me download Versa Check Gold, all I had to do was buy the paper for it..... I was told id be paid bi weekly via western union or money gram. All I do is just print the checks and send them out.... After reading alot of similar stories here, I feel as though I've been scammed too. can anyone give me an opinion?

Is it illegal if you post a scam job ad on craigslist?

I replied to a job on craigslist and the lady emailed back offering a job to post ads for her on craigslist. She wants me to post the same add to 30 cities everyday in the US and she said she would pay me $400 a week to do it. I am not sure if she is being for real or if they are fake ads and if i will get in legal trouble.i have never been in trouble with the law and dont plan to. Im not sure if i should try it for a week and see if she actually pays me or if i just shouldnt do it at all. Help me please. Can i go to jail if she asked me to do it as a job if it was scams and i didnt know?

Is it true that Craigslist jobs are real?

Craigslist jobs can be real or they can be scams. As with everything, there’s no absolute truth here. Check out the details, meet people in person, don’t submit any PII (personally identifiable information) over email. My wife found a solid product marketing job in the Bay Area with a major electronics company through Craigslist. If something looks to be too good to be true, it probably is (a scam). Use common sense. Not everything that’s free is bad. That said, I think job advertisers do have to pay to advertise jobs.

How can you tell which Craigslist job postings are scams?

I'd say most of them are scans. Some send you to a website or reference a website.Unless it appears to be a legitimate agency that you can drive by and "see" a building, I consider most of them to be scams, especially if you look under the ETC or PART-TIME categories.Anything that offers to pay you money for working online, is most likely a scam.
