Is This Enough Workout To Burn Belly Fat

Do ab workouts burn stomach fat?

So I'm doing this '8 minute abs' thing on YouTube and people say its really good but does it burn the fat or just give you abs behind the fat on my stomach???

Is it enough to do crunches workout to reduce belly fat?

Hi!If you really want to lose belly fat, “don’t even think about doing ab crunches”!!Ab crunches are isolation exercises and burn very less calories. In addition, you cannot spot reduce. To lose belly fat you should focus on losing fat from all over instead of exclusively focusing on the abdominal area.Weight training, Body Weight exercises, high intensity intervals (circuit training), swimming, high intensity sprints etc are some of the best ways to lose fat and keep it off for good. You will have to focus on your nutrition and diet. Maintain a marginal caloric deficit of 10 - 15% and exclude simple carbs from your diet. Your diet needs to be rich in protein and complex carbs.

How to burn belly fat then get toned abs?

Okay, so be comforted by that toning ab muscles is the easy part. Yay! However, the hard part is of course, getting red of the fat above them. :(

To get technical- to burn one pound of fat, you have to get rid of 3,500 calories. I know, you're looking at that number now going O_O''. But it's okay! If you divide 3,500 calories by the 7 days a week, it's 500 calories a day. So you either have to cut 500 calories a day from your diet, or exercise each day and burn 500 calories, or do a combination of both. To make it easy, cut out bored snacking- this will probably get rid of some of those calories!

Cardio is great, everyone knows that, but it is not the best and fastest way to burn fat. To burn fat quickly, you need to have some resistance training with weights. Combining cardio and resistance will trim the pounds really quickly. Look for a class in any gym or YMCA (they have a great class called bootcamp) that combines a cardio workout with some weights. If you're going to do just cardio because weights scare you, you're right: Intervals are they way to go. Look up the Fartlek (yes that's his real name, I didn't make it up) training online for some examples. If you have an iTouch, there are great training apps out there from workouts to food.

This isn't going to be as easy as doing some crunches in front of the Tv (that sucks, I know) you are going to have to work. To make it easier, have a friend work out with you, it really does make it fun!

Does swimming burn belly fat?

Yeah, any exercise burns calories, and when enough calories are burned, you will start to burn fat.

If you do endurance swimming, you will loose a hell of a lot of calories, i lost about 2 stone in 8 months from just swimming 4 times a week for 90 minutes.

Do ab workouts help lose belly fat, not just build muscle for the abdominals?

Here is how to lose belly fat:

First you should know that it is not possible to spot reduce fat in just one part of your body, like your belly. In order to lose belly fat you will need to lose the fat all over your body.

In short you may need to start:

1) Eating healthier, this means:

Eat smaller meals
Eat more meals a day
Don’t starve yourself
Eat more vegetables and fruit
Drink more water
Less sugars and empty calories (less soft drinks, cakes, cookies)
Switch to whole wheat versions of your bread and pasta, brown rice instead of white rice

2) Exercising:

Forget crunches, crunches work your ab muscles but they don't burn enough calories to lose belly fat, if you do hundreds of crunches daily you will have great abs but you won't see them under your belly fat.

I prefer full body exercises they burn the most calories and increase you metabolism for a few hours after your workout.

Get a training partner or a fitness trainer, a very worthwhile investment - of the money you save on junk food for example =)

Try also to reduce stress and get enough sleep. Both of these are related to weight gain and emotional eating.

Is burning 1000 calories a day good enough to lose fat?

Actually it totally depends on your calorie intake each week.
You will only lose weight if you consume fewer calories then you burn off.
If you are eating 2000 calories every day and burning off less then no, you won't lose weight.
If you reduce your calories and eat some more healthy food then with your level of exercise you will work off that gut. It can be stubborn when it is stuck there though. Lots of cardio exercise is better than weights for burning it off. Try running or skipping each day at the gym. Keep that heart rate elevated. That burns off calories faster.
Check out the link I'm attaching. It gives all sorts of tables for showing how much you should eat and how much exercise burns off how many calories. good luck with the gut busting!

Do squats help in burning belly fat?

Do squats help in burning belly fat?Squats or any forms of workouts just help strengthens and shape up your body cores and muscles. Finding out the root causes behind underlying health issues such as undesirable belly fats and doing your personalised lifestyle diet should be the secret #1 when it comes to burning belly fat the sustainable way.The secret #2 to burn belly fats? Do your MED!I used to squats regularly too in the past 5 years thinking that it will help lose that stubborn fats around my belly. But in the end I realised that in order to remove stored fat, I have to do the least necessary workout to trigger a fat-loss cascade of specific hormones in your body. To add muscles in order to help your body to burn more fats, I have to do the least necessary to trigger local (specific muscles) workouts. And this is what the experts call the minimum effective dose (MED) : the smallest dose that will produce a desired outcome. If one overdone it, you will not only wasted your time to workout with purpose, and it will also be a predictable path for preventing and reversing your gains.80 seconds is the dose prescription to burn of body fat and build lean and fit muscle mass. Now, more is not better. Why? Because the organs and glands that help repair damaged tissue have more limitations than your enthusiasm. Hence, your greatest challenge will be resisting the temptation to do more ;) Just like to boil water, the MED is 212F at standard air pressure.Boiled is boiled. Higher temperature will not make it more boiled. In fact, learning diet and exercise principles is priority #1, as these are bedrock elements. Relying too much on workouts will make your body and organs unhappy ;)So, make sure you start the right diet and find out your root causes on what’s holding you back in fat loss success, before dive deep into any workout programs!
