Your famous line from a movie or TV Show?

Say hello to my little friend!

Is the song Love like woe in a movie or tv show?

not that i know of

If you could live in a book, TV show or a movie then what would it be?

Think about this. Which one do you think it's going to be? Of course I would live in the world of Zootopia! Why on earth wouldn't I? It appears to be a clean and prosperous place, with good public transport, thriving urban life, diverse climates, and an impressive police force. But let's face it, that's not why I'm choosing to live there. Life would be like Anthrocon on steroids, every single day. Not only would I be surrounded by actual talking animals, universe rules would dictate I’d have to become one (wonder what species…), and that's pretty fuckin’ awesome.Sure there's a social issue with effective racism and minority groups, mixed in with a lot of stereotypes, but I'm not seeing any orangutans building walls, so it beats this world.

What's your favorite line from a movie or a TV show?

Jack Webb used to have scenes in which his Dragnet character, Joe Friday, would really ream someone out. He called them “Jesus Speeches.” This is one of my favorites, from a special two-hour episode broadcast during the third season of the revived series from the ‘60’s. The script was by Oscar-winner Richard L. Breen. Joe’s helping an African-American detective interrogate a pedophile, who sneeringly refers to the black cop as a “nigger.” An enraged Friday lets fly the following:You listen to me, you gutter-mouth punk. I’ve dealt with you before and both times it took me a month to wash off the filth. I’ll tell you what you did with that four-year-old out in Westlake Park. You staked out a bench like you always do. You bought a bag of candy, and waited around for just the right little girl to come along. When she did, you offered her some candy. You offered her a ride around the park. You got her into your car. She started to cry. You slapped her across the mouth. You cut her lip with your ring. You knocked out two of her teeth. And then you know what you did to her.Get your head up when I’m talking to you!Now I didn’t say that, Rockwell. You did. That’s exactly what you told those cops who arrested you. They advised you of your rights before you opened your mouth. Now you’re trying to tell us you didn’t understand.Well, you’re a liar. You understood your rights then, just like you do now. Sometime in the 40 hours you’ve been in the bucket you got the word that not only do you have to be advised, you have to understand, or else the confession’s inadmissible. You told us what happened. That was the truth. Now your’re saying you didn’t understand what the officers told you. That’s a lie.But you’re like every other two-bit hood from Cain up through Capone. You find some quirk in the law, and then you hide behind it.And, Mister, you are a two-bit hood. You’ve fallen twice for ADW. Burglary three times. Twice for forcible rape. I tagged you for those. And now you’ve graduated to the sewer. You’re a child molester. And this isn’t the first time. We’ve had you in here before. And, Mister, you were guilty then and you’re guilty now.One last thing, you smart-mouthed creep. If the Department doesn’t question the color of this man’s skin, you damned well see that you don’t!

What is your favorite book/movie/TV show?

Book: The Sea of Trolls trilogy. Words cannot describe how sad I was and am that these series do not have a fan base. I love this series more than anything, even Harry Potter (yes, I said it). I read them so many times, I lost count. If someone were to make a movie series out of them, it'd be amazing. It has adventure, great characters, and it's interesting enough to make you not want to put it down once you get into it, and there aren't many books that were able to do that for meMovie: the Hobbit and LOTR series. I can't really set them apart because I love the world of middle earth and all of the characters and the atmosphere that they have, but if I had to choose a single favorite movie, it'd have to be The Desolation of Smaug. I know the LOTR series are better in different ways, but I guess since the hobbit is most recent and I already had my honeymoon phase of fangirling over LOTR when I was in elementary school, the hobbit just feels fresh and closer to me.TV Show: Avatar the Last Airbender. I think this one is pretty self explanatory. It has awesome fight scenes with element bending that makes everyone want to be a bender of some sort, it's funny, full of heart, and intense. I watched it numerous times ever since I was little. Yea, I love How I Met Your Mother and Friends and The Office and Pretty Little Liars and Reign; I watched a variety of TV show genres. Nothing beats ATLA in my experience.

What is your favorite genre of TV, show or a movie, and why?

Thanks for the A2A.My tastes are a little different when it comes to TV over movies. For movies I go to more sci-fi movies than anything else, including the Marvel and DC universe pics — but Star Trek (even the new ones) are still my favorites. For TV I really like documentaries that visit places and show interesting things. Shows like No Reservations, Dark Tourist, Abandoned, Somebody Feed Phil, Cities of the Underworld, etc.My second favorite type TV show would be anything well written with high production values. Shows like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Goliath, Sneaky Pete and even things like Boston Legal come to mind.My third favorite TV genre would be SciFi, with shows like Star Trek (all iterations, including Discovery), Battlestar Galactica (new version), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (although the last season was a little out there — literally), Stargate (all iterations). Finally, well-written, intelligent comedies like Arrested Development, M*A*S*H, Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc.
