Is $100 Gift Card too much?

Ok, so I'm going to my little cousin's bday party, I think he turns 10 or 8 or 12? I have no idea how old this kid is turning, anyways, i dont know what to buy him, so I figured I get him a gift card. I dont want to get him a $25 or $50 gift card because I dont want to look cheap, So Im thinking of getting him $100 gift card. Is this too much for someone I really dont even spent any time with?

Is $50 birthday gift for a guy friend too much?

If you do not feel pressured into giving him that much and you can afford it, then go ahead.

Is a $200 gift too much to ask for Christmas?

It always depends on your family's money situation..
Ya know? But personally; I think its fine. This can be something you two can share and use to bond since you both like it. And maybe this can just be one huge gift; and if you got other gifts, they could just be smaller; cheaper ones. haha.
Hope I helped.

& could I ask you a favor?
Could you please check out my question; and help me answer it? Super easy. Just gimme your thoughts.

Is too much knowledge a curse or a gift?

Knowledge is something which doesn’t have any units to measure. All you know is just a little drop and all you have to know is ocean. Whether you passed out from Big institution or whether you hold a degree from university all those certificates are units to measure your literacy rate. When a person is well educated, he/she may be well literate but not well knowledgeable. Nobody has born with super powers, everyone are born with same level of intelligence. All It matters is how you use your intelligence.Knowledge - matter that helps us to grow and helps others to grow. It all depends on how you share your knowledge to others. The same knowledge can become both boon and curse to you. If you share your knowledge to others wisely then it’s a boon to you. But just because you are good at something and you want the people around you to listen to you then it’s not right. Never make a habit of that. I personally regret myself because I talk more on my friends situations and demand them to change. But it’s all my knowledge on that situation but my experience may not fit in their life and bring resolution to them. So your knowledge should not become curse to you and the people around you. Share your knowledge wisely, talk to people kindly. As my guru said, your heart and your brain are in a single body with one main door. All this universe is filled with numerous possibilities. Both good and bad are ready to enter in you. If you close the door for bad then unknowingly you have closed the door for good. It all counts on how you accept people and how share your knowledge.Thank you.Happy reading!!!

What is wedding gift etiquette? How much should you spend?

This is one of those questions that has no "right" answer. I deal with this all the time at work because we have a large selection of "wedding present" type home accessories at all sorts of price ranges and I have literally had customers burst into tears trying to decide how much is the "right" amount to spend. It's totally unfair to tell someone who is earning $30K a year to spend $100 on a wedding present, even for her sister. On the other hand, it may not be inappropriate for someone to spend $500 on a business connection wedding present depending on the situation. What I generally recommend is that, unless you decide to go with something they have registered for, in which case you are really stuck with picking a price point and going with whatever they chose for you, try to go with something that speaks to you of the couple regardless of price. Sometimes an item that is $50 is perfect even if your budget is $200. If your budget is tight, don't freak out. Remember that the chances are very high that the couple knows full well of your budget issues and will not be insulted by an inexpensive but meaningful gift. If they are, they aren't such good friends after all then, are they? The other day a customer came into my store and asked if she could just buy a small gift box. She had just made a small, simple carry case for her best friend and needed to "make it look like a real gift" as she put it. I happily put it in a gift box with tissue and pointed out to her that it looked like a "real" gift to me and that the fact that she had made it herself probably would make it far more valuable to her friend than anything she might have spent significantly more money on by buying it. A gift is a token of acknowledgment, a symbol of both your relationship to the couple and their relationship to each other. A $1000 gift bought with no thought or consideration will generally not be as welcomed as a $10 gift that strikes the right tone of love, support and hope for the best future possible for the couple. Pick a budget you can live with, then look for something that speaks to you in that budget. If you can't find anything, look somewhere else. A good gift store should have someone who can recommend good options at ANY price point or another store where you might find better choices. Hope that helps!

Do too many gifts create spoiled children?

No. As Kaili Elrick Butare and Tammy Milliken said in their earlier answers, it’s not the stuff that does it—it’s a lack of gratitude and an attitude of entitlement where they think they’re owed the gifts that causes the problem (think of Harry’s cousin Dudley in the first Harry Potter book, with his, “But that’s ONE LESS than LAST year!!!”). My family has relatives that over-gift, usually with books and small items, and the problem we have is that half the presents never get used or looked at; they just live on the shelf taking up space. The kids, however, don’t expect all the presents, and when we did a severe present reduction this Christmas, everyone was still thrilled on Christmas morning even though they weren’t dwarfed by a pile of gifts. They also played with almost every gift they got that morning, which had not been the case in the past.So too many gifts is not something that automatically makes kids spoiled brats. Expecting so many gifts is what does it; if you can cut back on the number of gifts and not get temper tantrums, then you’re probably fine.

Is it too much that i bought an iPhone 7 for my girlfriend as a gift for Christmas?

Considering I know of celebrities that have bought cars and houses as gifts and still haven’t had successful relationships, we should realize that gifts, don’t make a successful relationship. If you’re not at the point that you can have a conversation with your significant other about what type of gift you’re going to give her then you’re not at the communication point you should be at.Talk to your girl and not thru text messages but actual phone calls and real time meetings face to face. Actually get to know her and she’ll be comfortable enough to tell you what gift you should get with her.
