Is This Just Friendliness Or Something More Thank U For The Advice Given

How should I respond to someone who gives advice I already know?

There are a few polite options: 1. Thank them for it, whether you intend to follow it or not. "Watch out, that burner is hot.""Okay. Thank you."2. If you were planning to do what they advise anyway, agree, and add a bit of (non-patronizing, non-sarcastic) supplemental information justifying their advice, or reciprocation. "You should take an umbrella.""Thanks, good idea. I saw online that the chance of rain is 80% today."or"Thanks, good idea. Don't forget yours—do you need to borrow one?"Remember that it's not that they proactively think you're stupid. (I have a hard time with this, personally, and often have to remind myself.) If it's a stranger, they're likely used to dealing with the lowest common denominator. It's not that they think you personally need advising, they're just used to seeing other people make easily-avoided mistakes. Yes, you know you need to take the keys out of your pocket at the security gate, but the TSA agent has already had to deal with a few dozen morons who've held up the queue for it, DESPITE the reminder. If it's someone close to you, they likely are using the advice as a way to express concern and interest in your wellbeing. From a parent, "remember your sweater" can mean "bye, have a nice day, I love you."

What is the best thing about a girl and guy's friendship?

What my experience says~~Not being fake or artificial.I never had to be fake myself in front of him. I speak anything or everything in front of him.He understands me in each situation and condition.Stand in my hard times, no matter what. He teaches me so many things about relations and relationships and handle all my tantrums. He brings me back to good habits and for so many told as well as untold things.I just have to be myself. I shared all of my secrets to him.Few conversations between me and my male- best friend.Few days before I was feeling alone. I messaged him that I'm not feeling well.He asked : what happened? He : There is a good news for you?Me : Which good news? How a boy can give good news? :PHe : (Laughed loudly)I'm coming on this date at home.I : seriously? But why? (Teasing him)He : Are you not happy? I'm coming after 6 months, and we are going to meet after 6 months. Aren't you excited?Me : No.. :PHe : Shut up. You know what I purchased lot of things today. A shirt for dad, a saree for mom, a toy for my niece, a dress for bhabhi and a watch for Bhaiya.Me : And for me? -_-He : Tere liye main aaraha Hu na (For you I'm coming, dear).Me : What? :D. Bhaag jaa..( Run from here). He : Kya chaiye bol ( what you need, say)Me : Anything you want to give :pHe : okay, kisses chalegi? :PHe was trying to make me laugh. He was successful.Next day, a random conversationMe : You know what I made something special today, but no one was at home to eat.He : Don't worry, I'm coming, we will eat together.Me : I asked. when?He : Raste main Hu?. ( I'm on the way to your home). He brings smile every time.Everytime whenever he comes back from office daily, he used to call me.He : Can I call you?Me : No, no, not now, my mom-dad are here. He: Oh, please tell my mother and father - in- law to go for walk, we need to talk ASAP.Me : Burst out in laughter. :D.:)

What advice would you give an American couple visiting Amsterdam and Bruges in winter?

No prejudice against American accents in neither place. It rains all the time; not necessarily hard, but constantly and frequently; and it can be windy.More French food in Bruges, which is a tiny village. Amsterdam is huge by comparison and more diverse (180 nationalities live in the city).Do the local beer thing: in Bruges, the Belgian beers (darker and stronger); in Amsterdam, Heineken is everywhere, but try other Dutch brands as well.In both places, find a small hotel in the old town. It’s more charming and saves you time. Walking around is fun.Yes, Amsterdam bikers act as if they own the road… because they do! Bike paths are for bikers, and they are not there just for fun: they are going to meetings, to work, running errands. It is harder to manoeuvre a bike than it is to just stay out of the bike path. Keep out of the bike paths, look both ways when crossing them, and you will never have a problem.Keep your plans flexible according to the weather: if it’s raining, go to a museum; if it’s dry, take a walk around the Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam.Ask permission to ask a question, rather than just asking it. As in: “Excuse me, may I ask you a question?” Wait for the person to say: “Yes, of course!” Then ask your question. This will earn you a lot of good will, rather then simply walking up to someone and saying “Where is the Van Gogh museum?”The busiest time for museums is between 11 am and 3 pm. If you arrive before or after those times you will avoid long lines. Also, get tickets on line in advance (for the Ann Frank House and the VG museum tickets are set for a specific time of the day).In Bruges there is chocolate everywhere, but the best is found at The Chocolate Line. Before you go, watch “In Bruges”(with Colin Farrell) and “Do Not Disturb” (with William Hurt). Then have fun recognising the locations where the films were made.

Is it bad to have just a few friends, like 2 or 3?

I have 792 friends on Facebook.I have 273 contacts on Whatsapp.I have 32 followers on Twitter.I have 149 followers on Instagram.42 followers and 50k viewers on Quora. But, the day, I cried over a broken heart, only one came to my rescue. It’s not the number but the essence which makes friendship count!Thank you Kartik BatraRegards.

What is a piece of advice that you would give a loved one if you could go back to an earlier time?

If you wanna join dinner with me just say that do not instead of saying I wish school cafeteria could open at night while we passed by there.when we walked close and casually just take my hand I would definitely love it better than heard you said you regret about your hesitation.please figure out something more creative before you wrote the letter “could you be my girl friend?” but I said yes. now we use phone massage someone we love I believe you have much progress on the next relationship.hope you can find a girl who you really love. some mistakes were really beautiful in the memory that made us. thank you.

What advice would you give a foreigner that just came to your country?

1) Please learn the official language of the country if you are going to become a permanent resident.
2) Be kind, but don't be vulnerable because some people will take advantage of a foreigner.
3) Don't abuse the system like so many do (that goes for current residents of country)
4) Get to know your neighbors and let them get to know you.
5) Give people second chances, we are all only human & sometimes are just having a bad day.
6) Immerse yourself in the culture of the country, try new things, like local cuisine and customs.
7) Love your new home, take pride in new country and love your fellow man. Still keep your love of your home country and never forget where you came from but always remember where you are.

Moving to Ireland! Help/Advice Pretty Please ?

So I created an account just to ask you guys a few basic questions.. if you don't mind that is. I even stayed up extra late because I know you're 8 hours ahead. Haha. ( I'm from BC, Canada ) ANY advice you guys could give me would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Okay, here goes:

(1) In your opinion, what is the best town/city to live in? & what is the cheapest? Friendliest? ( I want to live in a small town hopefully, with the basic amenities lol )

(2) Is it hard to find apartments and jobs in Ireland? How about finding roommates? Whats the average rent? ( I know overwhelming right )

(3) How do the people treat uhhm foreigners?? ( je ne sais quoi.. lol ) I figure they'd be very friendly but understandably a little tired of them. I'll probably be mistaken for an American. ( oh so happy about that ) .. ;)

(4) Finally, if I happen to plug in my 120 volt hair straightener.. will I die?

Anyway, I'm looking to live in a town with lots of culture. I'm of Scottish descent ( like most Canadians ) and the city I'm living in at the moment has a population of 330,088. Again, if you provide me with ANY info/tips at all I'll owe you my life. Well not really, but you catch my drift. I'm just that naive.

Which Indian astrologer or web site can give more accurate advice or prediction on divorce related matter or married life?

I feel there is no website or app which can predict because there are a lot of combinations and relations which need to be considered while giving a reading. I suggest u to meet an astrologer instead of searching solutions on applications. Computer gives you information which Is pre-fed.what they give is generic and only 5%relative. If u want your questions to be answered, consult an astrologer personally. Machine cannot give u relational predictions. It will give u only an individual prediction.eg. MARS IN TAURUS GIVES SO AND SO RESULTS. But the fact is while giving a reading u need to consider the house, constellation, aspects, visions, zodiac, enemy signs, friendly signs and much more which only an astrologer can.THANK YOU.
