he rule of law differs in many countries. However if it is mere words, be the better person and walk away ( just don’t turn your back on them, they can suckerpunch you, steal your property and than run away)I give verbal warnings: If you touch me i will hit you ( of course depending on the situation) Luckily I have said this only once and the person backed off.I have a friend who ALWAYS get into trouble. He is rather small 1.60m but is a mean dude on the MMA mat. It is mostly because of his stature and he always gives verbal warnings. He had to use it a couple times and didn’t get arrested because it was self defence ( was in the States)I always stay calm but my friend tend to get irked by the “shorty” crap.. it depends most of the time he lets it go but everyone has a point that they say enough is enough.You see some short, small, big, huge, husky whatever size guy or girl walking by and you want to be a smart ass? Don’t do it and just keep on walking. You never know if they have a bad day. Keep your nose out of other peoples business and no bad business will come to you is what I always say ( unless you are a police officer or some of law enforcement finest.. but NO CIA yeah i know you are reading this)
Is it legal to make a suicide threat to somebody just to manipulate them?
This ex boyfriend of mine said he was going to kill himself yesterday because I told him it is best if we don’t have anything to do with each other. I called the cops. It turned out that he was trying to manipulate me and the police said that he did the same thing to another girl. Can anything happen to him if he keeps doing this? Thanks!
Is it illegal to record a conversation if someone is threatening you?
If someone is threatening you constantly but only when you are alone and you want to prove it can you record it the next time they call or come by without telling them? Can it be used as evidence in court? Because if you have to tell then you are going to record them they will just stop making the threats but that doesnt mean they won't still do something to you. Isn't the point not to stop the threats but to stop the threats from being followed through on?

As a matter of law, there is no justification to use force to counter a strictly verbal threat that's not accompanied by an overt act that forces you to defend against that physical act, like a display of a weapon. And a threat of future assault is no assault at all, unless it's particularly worded with the intent to accomplish specific things that I would have to know your state's laws to comment on.
What would you do if someone threatened to punch you?
One time I was headed to an educational institution we’ll call it. I was with around 4 friends. One of them had an appointment there for something.As we were looking for it (we weren’t using Google maps at this point) a 6′5 guy asked us if we know of such and such a place, and where it’s located. I said I had no idea (because I didn’t)Around 2PM we arrive there. And as we do that same guy who asked for directions seen us. Like a coward in true fashion, as he walked past me he said “I thought you didn’t know where it was you fucking prick.”Then he continued to go on with himself, making threats, saying he’s gonna do this and that to me, etc, until I responded letting him know I wasn’t about to put up with his bullshit.And what do you know? He didn’t do a thing. Didn’t fight. Didn’t punch me. He didn’t carry out any of his threats. All talk and no action.When he seen I obviously wasn’t the “victim” he was looking for, he backed down and walked off and that was the end of it.If someone threatens to punch you, they’re probably NOT going to punch you. And are full of BS.They’re just trying to scare and intimidate you. If you fall for it, then they either will punch you because #1 - you’ll do nothing about it. And #2 - they’ll verbally abuse you knowing you’ll do nothing to stand up for yourself.I’ve been in countless scenarios like this and ALL the people who said they’d punch me and “do this and do that” never did.I remember one guy hilariously started acting friendly with me after realizing I wasn’t afraid of his tough-talk.It’s all a game of psychology. And those who fear the most and don’t understand the psychology behind it become the victims.
What should you do if someone threatens to kill you and your family?
Call the police immediately, report ANYTHING you know about them. Phone number, what they might look like, approximate height, etc. Doesn’t matter if they threaten to kill you if you report them if their initial threat is to already kill you, either way report to the police and tell them there’s a death threatMove out of your house, at least for a while. Move from hotel to hotel, make yourself unpredictable. If you can manage to keep renting different cars that’s even better.try not to use your social media too much and if you do use a VPN, although not very easy, it’s definitely possible to track you through your social media, using a VPN will hide you betterAre you just genuinely curious or is someone actually threatening you?!
