Is This Name Too Old Fashioned

Is Dora an old fashioned name?

Who cares? It’s your kid! I think Dora is cute, actually. And, to be honest, old-fashioned names are becoming wildly popular again. I have a friend expecting (I’m 22, to give some reference of age ranges here) and she’s naming her daughter Lydia. I’ve seen a few Millies, and I’ve also seen some others like Daisy and Evelyn coming back into style. One little girl who gets meds from my pharmacy is named Poppy. How stinkin’ cute, right? I swear if I ever have kids my first one is being named Poppy.Old-fashioned isn’t always bad. It’s coming back in style, and hey - some of those names are timeless classics.

Is Harold too old fashioned to name a boy?

No, I don't think so. Names are so varied nowadays and by the time they reach secondary school they have abbreviated the name you gave them, or found a nickname that they are insistent on using.
I prefer Harold though!

Do you think the name Anthony is too Old fashioned?

I don't think Anthony is too old-fashioned at all. The only Anthony I know is in high school, and it still seems very usable to me.

I generally think it's an attractive name. Classy, slightly less heard of, but still very attractive.

Good luck!

What do you think about the name Florence? Too old fashioned?

I would like to name my daughter Florence after someone I look up to. I'm afraid it is too old fashioned though and will get her made fun of and it's not worth that to me. I like the way it sounds though. What do you think? Maybe as a middle name?
