id go with 20 or 22 inchs, 18 hits right above/on the collar bone for some even 18inch is too close to the neck, and deff dont do 16in that would be like a choker necklace status, if i was buying for a dude id go with 20inches

…This one. I designed it. The stone is a gem quality labradorite, which, this one is the color of blue sapphire (which is my oldest son’s birthstone, September) and the green in it is the color of peridot (my youngest son’s birthstone, August). The top is a bezel set aquamarine which is my birthstone, March. The bezel is 14kt, and the chain is platinum. The labradorite stone is two sided and turns on a 14kt yellow gold heavy gauge wire, and the bead is held on with a good sized gold nub at the end. It may not be the prettiest necklace I own, but it has the most meaning to me. My oldest son will be 49 on the 24th of September, and my youngest son turned 45 last month.When I wear this necklace I think of them being close to me, with me. We are The Three Musketeers together, and this necklace symbolizes this for me. I fell in love with the labradorite stone when I saw it because it has their birthstone colors in one stone. It’s a much higher grade of labradorite than most stones you see on the market today which are more whitish in color, and more see through. This stone is a nice sized oval two-sided bead with a hole drilled through the center so it can spin. It’s simple, but unique, and the only one like it. I love knowing something I own is the only one there is, which comes from my artistic side. I don’t want to be running around wearing something everybody else can have. I want the only one!
