Is This Normal For Bronchitis

Is it normal to get bronchitis twice a month?

Very normal, actually the reverse, viral leading to bacterial is even more common. Whenever one is sick their systems become weaker from the fight, which gives other things a better chance to set in.
Did you also take all the antibiotics when you were suppose and not stop when you were feeling better? That is one way to get a lot sicker, not following the entire treatment.

With acute bronchitis, is a heart rate of 89 normal?

A resting heart rate of 89 is within the “normal” range for adults, but what is normal for you could be higher or lower. If you are physically fit, your normal resting heart rate could be quite a bit lower than this. It is not unusual for heart rate to be elevated (relative to your own baseline) when you are sick, especially if you have a fever. Also, some of the medications (puffers) used to treat wheezing (like salbutamol—usually a blue puffer) are mild stimulants. Some people feel a bit jittery and have an elevated heart rate after taking these medications. Hope you get feeling better!

Is it normal to have trouble breathing when you have bronchitis? I’m not talking about a stuffy nose.

Yes indeed.Any complaint ending in ‘itis’ signifies an inflammation of that body part. For example ‘arthritis’ is inflammation of the ‘arthros’ or joints…..’bronchitis’ is an inflammation of the ‘bronchus’ and ‘ bronchioles’ which are the tubes leadimg into the interior of the lungs. They sub divide into smaller air sacs called alveoli where the blood is oxygenated.So….any inflammation (SWELLING) of the tubular airways in the lungs decreases the internal diameter of those tubes and thus the volune of air intake with each breath.Your blood in insufficiently oxygenated as a result and your whole body is potentially starved of oxygen with which to undertake the chemical processes of life…including energy release to the muscles for eg.You will therefore feel breathless.
