It is the way society is nowadays. Your message and appearance has to be perfect. When people are on those dating sites, they will never "settle". It is like shopping, you are always going to pick out what you what, and you won't settle for a lesser item of it. Girls have this picture of a perfect guy painted, and when the person messaging isn't him, they won't reply. It sounds shallow, and it is, but you have to look at it this way. When there is 500,000 guys to choose from, a figurative number, there is a good chance there is another guy that is a little more toned, tanned, taller, darker eyes, than you, so they will skip over you to get to the "better" guy. Online dating is all about the looks, then the personality, and then the starting messaging followed by the conversation flow. If you blow one of those steps (in that order) you cut off your chances of the next ones. That is the problem with online dating. It isn't like real life where a person will think "oh he isn't the most charming, but he is really sweat. I will give him a second chance" You have one chance to tell them what it is they are looking for, and be what they are looking for. This all applies to 99% of guys and girls on there. You said it yourself when you said you don't have interest in those girls that message you. They aren't what your looking for, so you don't reply. Almost everygirl on that site gets a minimum of 50 messages a day from nice guys, perverted guys, and old men. You have to be the one that stands out from that. Worst part is, some girls just clear their inbox if they read too many perverted messages. Needless to say though, I am sure guys share a lot of similar traits on online dating. Best thing you can do is keep messaging. There has been times where I send out 5 messages and get all 5 replies. There has also been times where I don't get a reply from 100 messages. Just gotta find someone that you could be interested in. Also, get someone with a few different interests than you, it will help a lot as well.

The possible reason is you might have sent him a message when you were not a friend on Facebook and he or she ignored your message request.Ask him to check his message request and see if your request is still there. Or simply tell her to send you a message first.
How can someone be active on messenger and not receive my delivered message?
This happens when the Facebook Messenger client app is not installed on the recipient’s device. If the person at the receiving end is using Facebook app, the sender will see the recipient’s status as “Active now” in the Messenger app, but when he/she sends a message, it will show an empty circle with tick mark beside the text.The receiving person will get a notification in his/her Facebook app, but won’t be able to read it or find out who the sender is (unless he/she installs the Messenger app). However, in Android devices, the receiver may be notified like this: “XXX has sent you a message”. When you click on this notification, you’ll be redirected to the Google Play store.All of this will happen, but the sender would still see the “sent” icon (not “delivered”). Once the recipient installs the Messenger app, the sent icon will change to delivered and then to seen (if the message is read). The message status will also change from “sent” to “delivered” to “seen” if the recipient uses web browser to read the message.P.S. : Marking the sender’s message as spam or muting the notification has nothing to do with the delivery status. If the messages are marked as spam, the new message will still be delivered to the recipient’s device (followed by a proper notification, but the earlier conversation thread will be deleted). In this case, the sender will see the message status as “delivered” (solid circle with a tick mark). After the person reads the message, the icon in sender’s device will change to tiny profile picture of the recipient. Even if the sender is muted at the recipient’s end, the message status icon will still follow the same rule (except in this case, there won’t be any incoming message notification and the status icon will change from solid ticked circle to tiny profile picture icon only when the recipient opens the conversation thread to read the messages). I'm trying to send a text to some and I get this text bacl "Free Msg: Receiver unable to receive message - Message Blocking is active" So i want to know if that person block me so i cant text or if their phone is like off or something ? It only happend to this one person. I can text everyone else.

Why isn't anyone receiving my text messages?
There could be several things going on. If it's multiple customers: 1) Try checking under Menu > Messages > Message Settings > Text Messages > Service Center Number The number should be a one you do not recognize provided with your provider. If you're with Rogers this is +17057969300. REMEMBER the + sign! 2) Try turning your phone off and removing the battery for about 10 seconds. Try again after the battery is put back in. 3) Be sure the way you are sending is correct and most preferably with the Area Code as well. 4) Do a Master Reset on the phone. Stay away from a Master Clear, this will delete all information not saved to an external destination. When performing a Master Reset (Known also as a Reset Settings) on a Samsung, it should give you 4 options. All, Phone, Sound, and Display. Select all to select the other 3 as well. The security code will either be the last four digits of your phone number or 00000000. A good rule of thumb is make sure your phone is not giving an error code like "Message Pending/Queued" "Failed to send" or "Invalid Recipient." These are indicators that it's a Phone/SIM issue than a Network issue. If with a single customer: 1) Follow the steps above. 2) Confirm with the recipient that they are able to receive from other of the same carrier. If they are, it is most likely on your side since all the mechanical stuff is on the sending side. If all else fails, call your service provider! They'll appreciate the steps you did before you call!
Why can't people see my messages on Chatango?
Hi, so yeah. I just thought this whole time that no one ever talked on Chatango. Then, I had a friend of mine use their computer to access it and see if they could see any messages I sent to them. Turns out, no, they can't. So did my account somehow get blocked without me knowing? If so, how do I fix this. I even tried making another account but I don't think it works either. NOTE: I am talking about the actual site Chatango and using the "Meet People" function. NOT a chatango chat client room based on a separate site or something.
