Is the following statement true: "Feminism is Buddhism"?
No, it is rubbish. The various forms of Buddhism (on which I am explicitly no expert!) make distinctive philosophical claims that feminism need not be committed to. Nor is the intellectual genesis the same. Feminism arose as a reaction against perceived problems with liberalism. That is not the case for Buddhism (maybe a few Buddhists in the West would tell a story about their personal Buddhist journey being a reaction against consumerism, which may or may not be tied up with liberalism). That is not to say that there cannot be feminist Buddhisms. I genuinely do not know.
Which statement is true?
A. feminists and gay rights activists both challenged traditional attitudes B. feminists always opposed gay rights C. women's rights issues were in conflict with gay rights issues D. feminists and gay rights activists both reinforced traditional attitudes
What is not true about feminism?
It’s not about equality. It’s about the power of organized feminists groups who lie and distort the facts to keep their revolution going and to continuously redistribute the accomplishments and hard dangerous undesirable work earnings of men to women either through the courts in divorce or through social programs.Today women are ahead of men in every imaginable area, yet organized feminist groups continiue to distort. Here is a short list all backed up by government data(NIH, CMS, BLS) in my other posts. In the US-Women have more wealthMore educationMore disposable incomeMore access to healthcareMore access to housingMore access to life - longevityMore income for the same job with same experience and trainingLess likely to be incarcerated for the same crime with the same evidenceIf incarcerated serve shorter sentencesSuperior rights to due process in the lawVirtually all parental rightsLess likely to be injured at workLess likely to be the victim of homicideLess likely to be the victim of nonrecirpocal domestic violenceYet inspite of all these statistics organized feminist groups continue to fight for more and more rights. I’m all for women serving in more leadership roles in government and industry. How about getting equality in the dangerous dirty jobs too.
True or False: A lot of feminists seem to think it's never ok for men to disrespect women but it's ok for women to disrespect men?
False. What we feminists think, since people seem to adore gross generalizations here, is that no one should be disrespecting anyone. Genitals don't matter. Gender identities don't matter. Sexual orientations don't matter. We are all worthy and deserving of respect.
What defines a true feminist or true feminism?
First of all the question should be ‘What is feminism' ? There is one feminism and means this…‘Feminism’ is advocating the emancipation of females. It is a positive daily protest of the hour for females, hankering for such an equality to blossom everywhere in world. To the contrary of a horde of traditionalists, Feminism is NOT against Men. Rather it is WITH men.It is not dominating and outwitting male folk! I don’t take side of female deceivers either! There are some truly committed male personalities working for the woman rights to sprout on the grounds. And am forced to state another truth that, monstrous males also exist in this world who even look at children with lusty eyes! Every dawn and dusk marks a rape news in India. I do not want to elaborate it as i get emotionally disturbed when i give a thought to it.There are women who like to confine themselves in the shell of being a slave. But those type women can remain like that, who cares, but should shut their mouth as well! Don’t call another woman ‘A bitch’!I would say, only A woman can turn into a first and biggest enemy of another woman in this world! Next comes her beauty ! And last comes men! And, I find it irksome when this phrase ‘Last but not least…’ gets proved here! And Some people blame females for getting raped… they say she dressed in such a way and what will the poor man do if hormone overrules him! So, what are they trying to justify by this??A woman’s dressing style is not an invitation for rape!Dear ‘Such’ people,Come into our shoes! Just think and see! The most common dress of the woman folk in our country is Saree or chudi or whatever, may it be western outfit, is it possible to be careful all the time to keep your parts unseen all the time ?? NO!!If Even such little casual fallacies of women can seduce men, provoke him to pass on nasty comments while walking, grab her parts without her consent…. Sounds ridiculous! To keep it simple, “…feminism is a hope of letting a female live her life without the fear of being a female.”P.S. : I wonder if any rapist would have a ‘Quora’ account !And I really don’t know posting feminism on social walls would actually aid to curb the menaces against females on streets! But would be happy if it helps.Hoping for a better India!~ on behalf of all females.
Is it true that Stalin supported feminism?
No. He supported some individual ideas that happen to correlate to things supported by many feminists.Stalin was totalitarian, which is essentially an extreme form of authoritarian statism. A common criticism I’ve seen of feminism is calling it statist, which is a not-unfair comment. Anyway, Stalin was in favour of things like collective childcare and socialised housework, which have a correlation to things commonly supported by feminist - but for totally different reasons. For Stalin, collective childcare and socialised housework was a method of gaining state control over children and increasing the state involvement in the home. Liberating women from gender roles is simply a byproduct. For many feminists, liberating women from gender roles is the goal, while the increased presence of the state in childrearing or the home is simply because they’re not sure how else to implement liberating women from gender roles - the work still needs to be done. However, Stalinist communism was a one-party state, meaning he cracked down on any other political movement. So he opposed feminism because he opposed anything that wasn’t him.
What is a good hook/opening statement about Feminism. HELP!?

What is feminism?
What Oxford Dictionary says:Feminism:The advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.Feminism supports equality of both sexes. That is,Right to EducationRight to speakRight to represent ourselves as an IndividualRight to safetyRight to wear clothes of our own wishThe list is not exhaustive.Talking about feminism we talk about these rights. If we discuss education, all girls (I am talking about India) have a right to education (legally 100%). Government have been providing immense support to girls by providing reservation in colleges as well as separate schools and colleges for girls. In the modern era, where we support equality, reservation is not required to such extent. If reservation for backward classes is wrong, so is for girls. If you say society is evil, then let me tell you; society claps for women scholars too. If your family doesn’t let you study, go fight for yourself and stop blaming society.Right to speak: Again we have enormous powers legally. We can definitely stand up for ourselves but the rights are being used irrationally. Where Nirbhaya’s rapist are still not hanged, there are girls reporting fake rape cases and accused suffered much. Things go both way round. Here come’s my point: Right to safety. This is the concern we need to talk about. It is difficult to go outside at night alone. Yes we want to work for an equal working hours as our colleagues but safety is a concern guys!! Yes we support equality but there are some issues for which we need to think rationally. And yes we are not kohinoor ka heera (a sacred gem) who needs to be locked in a vault. We are human beings who have their own goals and our very own aspirations.Whenever I talk about a certain thing which is wrong with society (example being view towards working women in India), I am been told that I am feminazi.Feminist word now a days is being used as a abuse. Guys let’s be together are uplift each other and make a society a better place instead of pulling each other’s leg.
Feminism is cancer. True or false?
Very true
