What do you think about this writing? Is it worth continuing?
The subject isn’t riveting stuff. It does show the intention of what some call a starter for ten… We’re being reminded of writing essays, yet also made aware of a struggle going on. The phrases don’t hit the mark successfully each time, as others have pointed out. I was reminded of how writers struggle to stay awake and losing coherent thoughts along the way, the sudden, I’ve-lost-focus thought making its unwelcomed appearance. So while I gained sympathy, there was no mention of a coffee break to help fix that lapse into unconsciousness. So it lacked a reality check.The writing, so far, proved useful enough for me to want to see the essayist being successful. Since nobody was informed of the topic, or the theme, or the greater difficulties, we’re left with the main character.Pilo? That wasn’t a very helpful name to have used. If, however, Pilo is a real person’s actual name, then that changes things. We need a better introduction to him.The phrase ‘lifting his eyes’ is foolish. You mean his eyelids were heavy, not his eyes being lifted out of their sockets. The eyelids can’t function normally when fatigue sets in and that’s not immediately counted except with a short walkaround into the kitchen, with a fresh cuppa coffee or black coffee being administered.If overwhelmed by fatigue, then the falling headfirst onto the QWERTY keyboard is sometimes the next stage… or just short of it, with a sudden reflex action to save oneself from what was learnt by prior experiences.BEEN THERE, DONE THAT!
I have watched Supernatural up to Season 6. Is it worth continuing, or does it run out of steam with most classic episodes in its past?
It really depends on why you’re watching. Even the worst seasons (7 and 12, for me) have some classic episodes that most fans love. The storylines definitely change, as does the show tone, and frankly, Sera Gamble was a lousy showrunner. But the show itself has about as many ups and downs after season five as it does before.A lot of people who were happy just watching through the end of season five seem to have been there for Sam. The mytharc actually continues to be quite Sam-centric right up until about halfway through season nine (9.11 - “First Born,” to be exact). Then it switches rather abruptly to being Dean-centric. Sure, Dean had some mytharc elements in the past, but “First Born” is the beginning of where the show’s mytharc becomes distinctly Dean-centric. And that focus is ongoing.So, if you’re there for Sam, season nine might be a good place to stop. But if you’re there for Dean, you’re going to miss a lot, stopping with season five.
Is posting stories on FictionPress worth it?
It can be. In my experience, you have to give feedback to get feedback. The Review Game Forum there can be very helpful for that. What basically happens is that you review a story of the last person who posted in the thread, and then you're next in line to get a review yourself. Whoever comes next will review your story, and then it will be their turn. So on and so forth. http://www.fictionpress.com/topic/1867/1... That one's for in-depth reviews of short stories. There's also a game for what they call 'easy fixes', but you won't get any decent feedback from that - people will just tell you one thing they liked about your story and one thing they didn't like. The depth one, on the other hand, can lead to some pretty good feedback. They also have similar games for multi-chapter stories (novels, in other words). Again, though, to use this method, you also have to spend time giving OTHER people feedback. If you just post your story to the site and leave it there, chances are you won't ever get many reviews at all.
Should i continue to button up my school uniform?
Im a 15 year old and i have a school uniform. One day i was late for school and i take really fast my school uniform My school uniform is a white polo shirt, i wear i black jumper when its cold, black pants or plaid skirt, and knee socks. This day, i take very fast my polo and my polo was buttoned up but i didnt know, and then i take my pants and i didnt realised i tucked my polo. And i take my v neck jumper. So i went to the school like that and i didnt realised. Everybody says to me if i was OK and i sayed yes. I dont know why but i feeled more confortable .And one part of the day i pull out my jumper and my pants was over my navel and i didnt know, i was like a typic nerd. At the end of the day, i went to my house and i realised how i look and i was like omg. my jumper was here and my polo was buttoned all the way up. More i stay like that more i liked it. Story ideas involving fire?
-well there could be some one whos family died in a fire and they are scard of it for a while then they have a power to contoll it. heres 3 another things -Someone died in a fire but some one brout them back ever since then they could since when some one ten to ten hundred miles away was going to die by fire in the next 1 min. to 5 years -Some kid loved playing with fire but his/her older sister/bother was a (later in the book) water magic user but they were a fire magic user they had to fight because for years water was the only magic his family used -durring a war a family gets bomed and only the twins servive they have to live there life speading fire into people's tents/ homes who were on the oppisite side but the girl twin falls inlove with the enemy here are a few that came to mined just now
Is House M.D worth watching?
I've just finished watching the first season of House M.D and i'm wondering if its worth continuing ? I find it interesting yet at the same time,the structure repetitive and can be tiresome. Will the plots become more layered throughout or continue as it is?
Are the Eden of the East movies worth watching?
I just finished watching the anime, and I would love it if the story continues. Does the story continue? Does the 2nd movie have an actual ending and not a cliffhanger? Does the 2nd movie have a happy ending? *no spoilers please*
