Is This The Real Reason Why Holder Is Resigning

What are the legal differences between resigning and being terminated?

Typically, being terminated means being fired. BUT, if you've handed in your resignation, some companies may not want you to work out your 2 weeks and terminate your employment immediately. That doesn't mean you've been fired, particularly since you received the payout you thought you would receive. It just means they don't want you working out the 2 weeks for whatever reason. Many times this happens if they feel they have sensitive client information that you could gather and take with you to a new employer if you had the 2 weeks to do so. It also doesn't mean you wouldn't necessarily be eligible for re-hire.

Why do people resign?

In one word: SATISFACTIONThere’s so many ways how this one word affects the way you see your job.Money : Think about a person who is working his ass off day and night and still has to call his dad for extra money. Isn’t money the reason why he took a job in the first place? If he doesn’t get enough of that (which never is) he’ll look for something better.Roles : Imagine this guy has a B.Tech degree but all he’s given to do in a day is type letters and replies. It pays well, but is this really adding to his skills? He’ll look for something better.Career growth: He has money and a good role, but imagine there is negligible increase in his work profile i.e in a distant future he doesn’t see himself rise up a ladder, he’ll look for something better.Time: What if he has a good role with excellent opportunities that pays well but the only cost is time. He doesn’t have time for his own family, friends and above all himself, he’ll look for something better.Location: A job that pays well and 9–5 work but he’s posted to another country/a little village far from the social interaction he desires, he’ll look for something better.Higher studies: There comes a time when he decides that to excel in career an addition of a degree will be better, he resigns.Peace: There’s money, growth, ample opportunities and he’s living with his family in the city he desires. But what if the work pressure is so much that he breaks down a lot and can’t relax even in his own home, he’ll look for something better.Work environment: There are times when he’s content with the kind of work and pay, but the boss puts him under unnecessary pressure or the colleagues discourage his every move. This one can be a contributing factor for him to look for something better.I wonder what others have I missed. Feel free to point them out :)

What are good excuses for resigning?

Oh...hmmmm...how about the truth, did that ever cross your mind....don't be a liar just tell it like it is, because there are no excuses only reasons, you made a commitment and did not think it through and now you want to break your promise, you will be more respected (and have more respect for yourself) for telling the truth than lying.

Why did Arnab Goswami resign from Times Now?

When Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party first contested Delhi elections and stunned all by its performance, Arnab made a joke in the newsroom. “I will join the Aam Aadmi Party” he said. He didn’t seem to mean it.After a few days, something happened in the newsroom and he was a little disappointed with us. (We probably missed covering a breaking news story before other channels, I can’t remember)“When I leave this channel, you can do whatever you want with it” he said. What I am trying to say is that, even back in 2013–2014, the signs were there. Arnab would say these things that meant he would not always be with Times Now.I remember discussing back then with my colleagues if he was planning to leave. Why?Think about this - Someone puts in money to buy you a house. But they refuse to give you any share in that house. They let you do whatever with the house. So you paint the entire house blue, put in the furniture you like and live in it as if its your own.One day, the owner calls and requests you to paint one room red. You hate the idea and protest. But he insists. So you do it. Because you may be living in the house like its yours but the owner is there to remind you its not.Times Now was literally built by Arnab, no one can deny that, but the owners will always be the Jain brothers. With the new Channel Republic, Arnab has majority stakes.Would you not leave a rented house for a house of your own?I answered this since you asked Anand Krishna :)

Why did Gerald Ford Pardon Nixon for his crimes during his presidency?

A pardon was the deal Nixon made with Ford; both repubs trying to protect their party's image.

Watergate - high level repub operatives broke into Dem headquarters at the Watergate hotel and stole campaign strategy info useful for Nixon's reelection bid. Lumped in with Watergate is the Ellsburg burglary by the same gang of thugs. Daniel Ellsburg released the secret 'Pentagon Papers', documents exposing Nixon's illegal activities in Cambodia and Laos. This infuriated Nixon and the repub power structure. His gang of burglars broke into the office of Ellsburg's psychiatrist to try to find info that would discredit Ellsburg.
