What is the average weight for a 5'0-5'1 teenage girl?
I am 14, 9th grade. I am about 5'0 or 5'1 and I am very short compared to my other friends. Last time I weighed myself I weighed about 93 or 94 pounds, but I feel like I've gained more since then, which is my goal. My doctor said that I apparently have a fast metabolism, thats why I'm so skinny. He said it's normal for girls my age and that I shouldn't worry about it. But for some reason I feel like people think I have an eating disorder or something when I walk by. I have never had an eating disorder but I'm built like one of those small girls with curves, kind of like models. Should I worry? I mean I know I'm still growing but should I be concerned about this or just let it go and see what happens when I stop growing? Also, no, I was not this skinny my whole life. As I grew taller in about 6th or 7th grade, my weight stayed the same, so I didn't put on that much weight when I grew. And again, remember I have a very fast metabolism, which is why I grew taller so fast but stayed the same weight.
Grade 9 guys: what do you like to look for when you look for a girl?
im in grade nine and i like some guys and i dont know how to talk to them because i dont know how to act around them, everyone says be your self, and i try to do that but sometimes im to shy to do that and i end up stuttering , so plz just let me know if there is anything in particulare you guys look for. like clothes, makeup, personality, freinds, even grades? thanks so much!
I'm now in 5th grade. Most girls are now wearing make-up. Should I wear make-up now or wait till 6th grade?
Sweetheart, I am so sad that this is even a question. You are way to young to even consider wearing makeup, and you will still be too young in the 6th grade. You are what, 10? 11? You are not even a teenager. You are somewhere between childhood and pre-teen. Would it be weird if a 9th grader (14 years) date a 7th grader (12 years old)?
I dated a 10th grade when I was 7th grade. I can still remember how i thought I forgot even how to walk after that first kiss. I couldn’t eat all day long. It was a nice experience. It was even nicer when I was 9th grade and dated a 12th grade. Later 2–3 more attempts, a month or two. It had a huge impact because back then i paid attention to every word and smile they gave me. I started to think about charisma, social skills, general culture, things i had never thought before.It didn’t last, but it doesn’t mean that you should start having this in mind. It had to end so i could leard precious things about this feelings. Stupid mistakes were maybe a lot. Maybe none. Awkward moments too. But who do you think remembers them? I think it more about discovering yourself. Some people are going to make fun of him for dating a 7th grade, but who cares when it is NOTHING wrong? The age gap is perfect, in my opinion. Be natural. Be relaxed. Ask him questions. Who doesn’t like being ask about himself?It’s been a year since I am with my love. 8 years age gap! It lasted because there were flames from both sides, it is just a huge feeling, it was there from the begining. Before that i never lasted a long time with somebody because i was falling in love quickly. And boys if try. I was beautiful and smart and why not? But there were no flames, no incredible chemistry and we distanced. Why do young girls my age (I'm 12 in 9th grade) love to wear makeup?
To be honest, I think that over the last, say, five years, make-up has become a really popular trend. People have adopted professional ways of putting make-up on at home by themselves, and make-up products (especially more luxury brands) have become really popular.When young girls are around your age, many of them like to follow trends that older girls are wearing.When I was 12, the thing that the cool kids did was get the really cool and expensive mobile phones (at the time this wasn’t an iPhone, which seems so weird!).Another cool things for girls to do when they were around 12 was to get a side-fringe cut because that was a trend that a lot of the older girls did.When I was 12 nobody really cared about make-up that much - like you said, we might wear a bit of eyeliner or mascara or lipgloss, but you never saw young girls with make-up that looked like it was done by a professional.There’s nothing wrong with these young girls liking make-up but it’s honestly because it’s become fashionable to have really good make-up, and something a lot of older, very attractive and deemed to be ‘successful’ women are doing, which these girls may have been inspired by.
Is 9th grade to young to date an 11th grader?
So I'm a 9th grader,and I'm currently dating an 11 grader. Is that too young? My brother found out that I was dating and gave me a big lecture on how I was too young. What are your opinions?
