When girls ask, should you say they look better with or without makeup?

That would be a slightly different question.Even the world’s most beautiful women look better with well-applied cosmetics. If a woman seems to look better without makeup, usually it is because it’s misapplied, or over applied, or applied in stylistic way evocative of a subculture that does not conform to her admirer’s taste (e.g., Goth, 40s vintage, Rockabilly).Women know the reality, and when we ask this question (we shouldn’t; it’s not fair), we’re looking for assurance that we still look pretty without it.The safe answer is to refuse to state a preference: “I like you both ways. You look beautiful in your own skin, which not a lot of women can say, and you don’t need makeup—but I also love it when you glam up, because you’re so good at it and you look really hot.”Another variation: “You always look beautiful to me. I don’t always notice whether you’re wearing it.”I’d then try to wrap up that conversation. A woman who hangs on like a pitbull until you state a preference is setting you up. People sometimes ask for the brutal truth but then, without meaning to, hold it against you. Tell a girl bluntly that she looks better in makeup, and she may share the story bitterly for the rest of her life.If you think someone’s makeup is over the top: “I prefer to see the real you. Do women look different after they take makeup off?

Because with makeup you can alter the features on your face to look like you have them when you really do not, it can also accentuate the good things and hide the bad, like bad skin.Once you see that same girl without her makeup you can notice the bags/dark rings under/around her eyes, her lips may not be so full and well-defined without that ruby red lipstick, her eye’s don’t really pop out because her eyelashes are not covered in mascara, and her eyelashes without makeup or alterations might be thin and not noticeable. Her skin might not look so smooth or pearly but with acne or blemishes and those rosey red cheek bones that pop out might not even exist without makeup.Basically, makeup can make you look like a completely different person or at the least hide some or all of your flaws, or even just distract you, making her appear better looking than she really is.Women look how they really look after coming out of the shower, if they looked like that they probably wouldn’t be so intimating to so many men out in the street.This is not to take away from a woman’s attractiveness or appeal, but the “natural” beauty of a woman is not in the makeup so when you look at a woman learn to look past the makeup.Women who are already more naturally beautiful tend to make themselves look worse with makeup than without it, whereas women who are more ugly side tend to not receive much benefit from wearing the makeup, it’s just too much of a stretch, you can’t always fix anything with makeup.

Oh yes and a few…!!! We had a co-worker who was always very dolled up for work. She always looked nice and was friendly and easy to talk to. She had dark hairs always flowing and falling on her shoulders, dark eyes, shapely brows and a contoured face, she would wear skirts and fashionable tops and high heels. She would probably be about 30 years weighing about 55 Kgs although a bit heavy but curvy and considered sexy by all fellow workers.On a Weekend evening while sitting at a cafe, I could not recognise her until she walked up to me and said hello. I knew the voice but it took me a few seconds before I could utter her name out “confused”. That time her hair looked more pale, she was not wearing makeup and hence her face looked swollen with small eyes and she was wearing a jogging suit, runners with her hairs tied on top of the head. Probably she just finished her walk on the sea side and stopped over the cafe for a coffee or bite. She looked like 35 years old at 65 Kgs, shorter and like the chubby girl working hard to get in shape.The next day at work, when I saw her, I could not resist but to ask if it was really her or I met a look alike or been pranked. She smiled and confirmed that it was her only and asked why would I say so… I could not tell her exactly why but said… coz you looked a bit different.That day I realised the power of makeup and dressing up well. She must be wearing waist shaper everyday and her makeup skills were great to make her face oval with dark eyes and brows. Heels gave her the must needed height and her knee high pencil skirts accentuated her legs and shape to look fashionable and attractive.
