Is it weird to get braces at 18 years of age?
I have gone to so many dentists over the years because we keep changing insurances, so I have gotten a bunch of different opinions ranging from "you should only get braces if you want them; they would be for cosmetic reasons", to "if you don't get braces, your teeth will all wear down and collapse". The latter is most recent and really scares me, so I think I might get them... but I'm already 18. Everyone else is already getting theirs off. Is there anyone out there who got braces at this age? Is it super awkward, or should I just get over with it because it will only be more awkward the longer I wait?

Its not weird at all...I mean I see people in their 20s and maybe 30s with them on, especially some of the orthodontist I go to. I been wanting to get braces since 3rd grade but I finally got them on last year and I'm 16 too.(I have to wear mine all the way to graduation and have never been made fun of with them on). Plus don't worry if you'll look weird, when you get them off you'll know it's all worth it. Honestly, if you want straight teeth, then you might as well do it now. Do you really want to live life wishing you had straighter teeth and then get them when your older or now and then live with straight teeth not having to worry about braces in the future?

No, I think it's not weird. There is no age limit to getting braces. Braces is good to getting straight teeth and you can get it at any age.
Is it weird I like older men? Twice my age?
I've always (even in early teens) been interested in guys much older, nowadays I like men twice my age!! My friends and family think I'm nuts but I love it :D I thought of dating younger or someone close to my age makes me sick. I hate guys around here. I still believe men don't mature until around 35 so I think that's the reason. Also I find it them so much more attractive them younger guys.
