The performance can be improved, but not to the point that it can easily run large games.Here are some things you can do:Defragment the hard drive with windows defragmenting tools.Defragment the hard drive with more specialized tools, such as Piriform Defraggler. (Free)Remove junk files and Clean the windows registry with C-Cleaner. (Free)Never let Google Chrome run in the background.Stop using Chromium-based browsers of any kind - Chrome, Epic Privacy Browser, Torch, Vivaldi, Maxthon Nitro, and Opera are NOT GOOD BROWSERS for this system. They eat up memory like it is a chocolate cake and nobody is watching them. I recommend either Firefox, Pale Moon, or Maxthon Cloud Browser.Use a fast flash drive for Windows ReadyBoost - this allows your computer to swap memory faster. (The option should show up in the flash drive’s list of actions when you plug it in. If not, it may be accessible in the properties menu of the drive.)Disable the windows search indexer - This will make searching for files with the search bar slower, but will prevent the search indexer from slowing you down by running in the background.Edit:Switch to AVG or Avast Antivirus (both free) - Antivirus programs have a major impact on system performance.
