How can people who are tone-deaf appreciate music?
Many experts, including me, feel there is no such thing as tone deafness. Some have a harder time imitating the pitches they hear. Sound is nothing more than vibrating air. This is a simplistic definition, but when the fundamental pitch of a sound vibrates at a certain frequency, that what makes a musical tone. The fact that someone cannot recreate those tones has no relation for their appreciation of a certain style of music.One can love music regardless of their ability to play. That’s like saying those who are not athletic cannot appreciate sports. Musicians need those who may not have talent. After all, who’s going to sit in the audience?
How common are sociopaths, and what are the odds I know or have known one?
Sociopaths are all around us. They are the ones that tear animals up or shoot them for no reason other than they just want to be mean. They are also the wife beaters that many women stay with. They are the child beaters who beat their children and abuse them.One thing you need to realize is half of the time sociopaths don’t even use violence as a weapon. They can use sex too, or even with the words they say can turn into abuse. There are many ways someone can be a sociopath. That’s why violent behaviors of any sort are wrong.In my opinion any man that has anal sex with a woman is a sociopath. They are inflicting pain and torture to the women and enjoying it. The woman get no pleasure out of it, but pain. So why do men do that? Because their sociopaths.I believe also that war brings out a lot of sociopaths in society. That’s when you can really tell who they are among us.
