What do you think about how in Dragon Ball Z Super Saiyan the transformation from a regular Asian looking person into the Aryan belief of blonde hair and blue eyes?
This is wrong for a number of reasons. One is that Super Saiyans do not have blue eyes their eyes usually turn green:In some remastered versions this did wind up changing to blue. But even specials as recent as Legend of Bardock keep the green eyes.But honestly the original reason super saiyan was made blonde was so that the artist didn’t have to waste as much time filling in the hair. Drawing this:Is easier than drawing this:So the author literally chose blonde entirely for convenience. A matter he rectified in Super. This question is actively looking for something to be offended about.

But there are reasons for everything an artist chooses to do in their work that can be explains and interpreted.Firstly, the concept of high Ki energy have always been alluding to neon-like colour change.Look at previous concepts of Goku’s “Ki” aura - the Kaio-ken form. Even previous blasts have illuminated the individual like Master Roshi’s Kamehameha. So, with increasing power levels in the series, the buildup to the “Super Saiyan” more aura is expressed to show the extreme power Goku had achieved.I believe that there is a correlation between star temperature charts/ fire colours that reveal why Toriyama chose a brighter colour for Super Saiyan. The colour yellow is hotter with Stars, and with fires than reds.But the question of why, blue/green eyes?Ultimately, Japan is a country of more homogeneousness than many others in the world and ignorance of the Western world’s racialised features is not uncommon like many Asian countries, where the Swastika is harmless. It’s possible that Toriyama did not understand the correlation between conceptualising a “higher” form of Saiyan from the darker tones of normal Saiyans and the “Master” Race concept created by Racialists inspired by Nordic features of Blue eyes and Blonde hair. I believe Toriyama chose Blonde hair for the Ki aura temperature of stars and fires. But why not choose blonde eyes for consistency? It’s my paranoia to think that Toriyama in the ’80s didn’t really think it would be ridiculous to assume that Blonde hair must have blue eyes rather than him being a racialist that believes Nordic features are superior.In fact, there is a mention of a joke of a Hitler-like character commenting on the Super Saiyans looking like the personification of the Master race.The dictator is a ridicule of Hitler and mocks his stupidity and small stature.
Has anyone with a tail ever become a Super-Saiyan?
Not just Super Saiyan… try Super Saiyan 3. ;)In Dragon Ball Heroes (A turned based card game. Pretty much the Dragon Ball equivalent of Yu-Gi-Oh.), Bardock transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 after having his mask knocked off by Beat (the Saiyan kid in the red gi).In Dragon Ball GT, we see Goku transform into a Super Saiyan 3 with his newly grown tail. I just find it interesting that the fur turns gold in GT while it stays brown in DBH.
Why is Pan Still not a super saiyan?
ok this has to do with the movie that was released in Japanese theaters recently. I get the part where everyone says she is only 3/4ths saiyan but if anyone has seen parts of the movie she helps Goku transform with her saiyan powers if she was not a real saiyan she would not have been needed for the transformation. this is all complete crap and Akira Toriyama knows it

I first noticed it when I stripped to admire my body after I had a particularly good run that pretty much doubled my past record for distance. I didn't think about it much then, but it really is happening every time after I run now. Naturally I'm wondering what this means. Just introduce him to all the stereo-types that are placed on Anime, then maybe he will stop. Or tell him about the real Japanese culture, and some of the negative things about the japan of today, and that might turn him off to Anime. Tell him that Japanese and Asian culture is not the world, he can also be proud of America, you can try to introduce him to what other cultures out there.
