Is Usa Really One Step From Becoming 3rd World Country

My son wants to become a dictator of a 3rd world country. How do I ensure his success?

My son wants to take over a 3rd world country, nationalize all major industries, and maintain absolute authority. He wants to purge all dissidents and build up a strong military and a strong economy of heavy industry. He wants to create a significant slave labour force and make people believe that they are benefiting themselves while serving the state. He then wants to invade countries to maintain his empire. How do I provide him with the tools necessary to ensure success?

Is Sweden becoming a 3rd world country because of refugees?

The demographics determine the nation and it’s development. Aswell as the politics that run the nation. There is about 7 million ethnic Swedes in Sweden. And this number is not growing. The immigrant population is growing and is closing in to 4 million now. Most of them are from 3rd world countries with very little or no real integration into the Swedish society. Many are unemployed and there are many men and young boys who end up in trouble with the law. The educational background is poor, and many of the women peculiarly from the horn of Africa and the middle east end up pregnant and with many children, despite unemployment. They also do very poor in school and have no real succéss in the job market. The immigrant areas have also through the years began to adopt it’s own subcultures, mainly a shallow, materialistic consuming culture followed with a heavy “gangster” culture. Something very similiar you see among poor, young people from primarily 3rd world nations.Apart from the demographics replacement our government is also running global interests, with a Sweden hostile politics, which have made the country what it is and what it became. There won’t be a union in Sweden in the coming future, there will be pay dumping among the Swedish working and middle class, the welfare might be down to nothing and i suspect there won’t be any real democracy in Sweden either. Sweden will probobly remain iconic for some time to foreigners, as it do right now - but will quickly give them a chock once they visit Sweden and see what have become of it.Is Sweden becoming a 3rd world country? Well, yes. Swedes won’t be able to carry the whole nation. One day we reach the tipping point and the majority of the people Sweden will be some generation immigrant, with us Swedes in minority. The economy will plummet and the crime rate will just contiune to rise. I think the goal acctually is to make our nation into a 3rd world nation to be really honest, this is my opinion but from what i have seen and read, it really looks like it.

How is the Philippines a third world country? How did it become this way?

By 3rd world country, Ill just assume that you mean underdeveloped.First off, the Philippines have never been developed. No country in Asia were developed in the modern sense of the word in the 1900s. But we were a developing nation long before other Asian countries even became a country. In 1900s, just after we won our independence from Spain and before the US occupied our country a year after, we were second in entire Asia in terms of development and economy next to Japan. This momentum continued during the American occupation that is until WWII. At the time America was under the great depression, they were relying on their Philippine colony in some of their industries since the Philippines was thriving at that time. The Manila harbor was one of the busiest port in Asia rivaling only Hong Kong, Singapore did not even compare. Manila was deemed the most beautiful city in the east by westerners who traveled and setttled here and making business here. It was also the most cosmopolitan city in Asia with many European nationalities living and settling here. Filipinos were well off and export Chinese nannies and Japanese gardeners. This was all destroyed during WWII. Many westerners and white or mestizo filipinos fled to Europe or died from the war. Manila was destroyed and flattened to the ground, it was the 2nd most destroyed city during the war (second only to Warsaw, Poland). And the economy was in deep recession with the currency amounting to almost nothing. After the war, we were able to recover and still maintain a high status in the region. But this was again destroyed during the Marcos dictatorship. Together with institutionalized corruption and monopoly by his families/ cronies, in addition to wasteful vanity projects they loaned from IMF, our market was not able to recover and the Mt. Pinatubo tradgedy made it more difficult for us to get back on track. Meanwhile, other Asian countries were liberalizing their markets and build real infrastracture for the public good for the last 50 years. Thats the reason why they have gotten ahead and we are left behind. The good part of this story is that we are slowly recovering, and our economy will accelerate even further if the govt will learn their lesson and liberalize the economy (while ASEAN integration is still at its beginning phase) just like what China did. The currwnt govt plan to build needed major infrastractures is a step in the right direction.

What makes China a first world country?

First of all, this categorization is outdated. “First world”, “third world” - nobody really uses these any longer. A more current system is “developed”, “middle-income” and “developing” countries. “Developed” is a rough equivalent of “the first world”, though not exactly identical. That said, China is not considered a “developed” country. It is still developing. It is large, its economy is growing rapidly, and it will likely be one of the superpowers in the near future (already is, in many ways). But too many aspects of its domestic life are still subpar to include it in the “developed” category. Usually, it is placed in the “middle-income” group. Perhaps you’ve heard the acronym BRICS - Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. These are the largest of the middle-income countries, in the league of their own. There are significant differences among these five countries, but there are also a few similarities to warrant including them together. The next category within the middle-income group is MITSK - Mexico, Indonesia, Turkey and South Korea. They are not quite at the level of the BRICS, but not too far behind either. These are, of course, simply helpful ways of thinking about the world - it’s also important not to forget the differences between all these countries.

Is the US now a third world country?

Totally.USA is so third world that I think the first two worlds are on Mars and Venus.Because, on this Planet Earth, where we are living now , US tops the charts in mostly everything that is not a statistics cooked by left wing economists. But even them cannot cook thisUS has by a wide margin the highest energy consumption per capitaAlso, US has the most millions of miles of roads in the worldAlso, for a third world country, US has this strange habit of spending the most money on research, by a good marginConsequently, the most Noble Prize winners are now from a third world countryWhat weirdos, they starve in misery but they are obstinate in studyingAlso, as I said, the first and second world must be on some other planets, cause last time I checked US has the highest income per household inside OECD membersAgain, a strange inclination towards buying cars ( maybe used ones from somewhere else?) for this third world citizens. Where they find the money from? Also, poor people in this third world country, they live in this crammed, small homes, of “only” 971 square feet PER PERSON( around 2300 per house!!!)Another strange, third world habit of this nation is to spend money on swimming pools. Why would they need that, while starving? As I said, I am curious to see how other first and second world countries look like, because on this planet I traveled a lot and I can say without a doubt that this is a top drawer country in most metrics ( I am not denying that there are problems).Closing with my view, today, smart phone picture, from the patio of the resort where I am relaxing. Damn third world countries!

Why is egypt a third world country ?

Because it is relatively under-developed with no real economy, most of the population is poor, depends on agriculture and it is not industrial - Cairo might be developed and the tourism areas might be but the rest of the country is in shambles. for Gods sake some people are still living in mud huts and drink out of the Tor3a with no wastewater, drinking water or even electricity, it is time that egypt woke up before it is too late. while I agree that the Brits did their part in destroying the "third world" countries but we have to take the blame ourselves also and stop blaming everybody else for our problems. We have to first to admit that we do have real and hard problems in our countries and that is the first step on teh right path otherwise we are going down. the second step is civil equity to all citizens, there should never be a difference between Muslim, christian, shia, sunni, Druz, Copts and so on and so forth everybody should have equal rights and equal apportunity then and only then we can be a "first world" country. I can go on and on but this is not the time and place.

When will India become a developed country like US or Japan?

INDIA IS PREDICTED TO BE THE 3rd OR EVEN THE 2nd LARGEST ECONOMY BY 2050.

PER CAPITA IS ESTIMATED FROM 2000$ IN 2008 TO 20000$ IN 2050 WHERE IN DEVELOPED NATION PER CAPITA WILL "JUST" DOUBLE.

LOOK AT HISTORY AND YOU WILL SEE THAT OUR DEVELOPED NATION OF TODAY ARE "DEVELOPED" SINCE ROUND 200 YEARS WITH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION.
WHAT WAS BEFORE THAT?
ECONOMIC HISTORIANS SAY SINCE EVER INDIA AND CHINA WERE THE TWO LAGERST ECONOMIES IN THE WORLD... TILL THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION AND COLONIAL EXPLOITATION STARTED...

NOW THEY RECOVERED FROM THE ECONOMIC DISATER AND RISING AGAIN.
