Its a money laudnering scam, do not deposit this or send any money. My friend had the same thing happen to her from a modeling site she posted on. Write back to say you tried to deposit the money order but the bank said it was counterfeit, then the police showed up at your door this morning and you've been at the station for hours. Tell them the police have the money order and that he has to send someone from his agency to the police station with identification to get it back or call the police station on their own. Also say that you gave the police his name, company and email and the police are going to contact him directly so he can sort this out.
