Is Veronica Mars a good show?
Veronica Mars is hardly a "girly romance high school melodrama." It's one of the shows farthest from a teeny bopper show I've ever seen. Veronica Mars is definitely worth a shot. It's clever and witty, and I love the characters. I've always hated that it was cancelled after only 3 seasons. It's a great show to get invested in, and I high recommend it!

Veronica Mars or Gilmore Girls?
Hasn't gimore girls already had more seasons than Veronica Mars? But GG is kinda dying like someone said and i also read on spoilerfix that Alexis Bledel said she didn't want to do another season and Lauren Graham said that if Alexis doesn't do another season, she doesn't want do either, so their trying to work things out. So we'll see if there's another season or not. I personally like Veronica Mars more. It's one of my fave shows at the moment and totally under appreciated.

There is this 80's hip hop song that goes "Veronica Veronica Oh Veronica girl". I keep coming across songs from Veronica Mars and the veronica's group but this is not what I want. Please help! I tried searching for the song everywhere and no luck. I don't know who sings it, so if you have that info.. I would appreciate it!

Why did Veronica Mars become such a cult favorite?
It was a very high quality show. It's metacritic score is 81 which puts it in the "universal acclaim" catagory. In their list of the top shows of the decade (2000-2009) it makes the cut (of the top 20 [tied with Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under] The Best TV Shows of 2009 ... and the Decade). So that makes it easy for those who watched it to like it.Most of its main characters are high school/college age. That means a number of adults will default to skipping the show. The same sort of reason that a show like Buffy the Vampire Slayer ends up not being more popular with all demographics. Plus UPN/CW contributes to that as many more people would have seen it if it was on ABC/NBC/FOX/CBS. The very fact that not everyone has seen it, adds to its cult appeal.It also has a distinct style that will have some people love it so much, and others not as much. Basically it has a lot of noir sensibilities, but also a lot of sly humor. It is a very good blend.The season long arcs of mystery/plot/character development also means that it is harder for people who might just want to sample the occasional episode to get the full effect (unlike, something like a sitcom where the development is glacial and it is easy to see only every 3rd episode and still get nearly everything out of it). That investment means those that pay attention and watch each episode will get more out of it, and also feel more invested.It also died too young. If it had sputtered out going slowly down hill, then it would have lost some of its appeal. That it was taken away from people too soon invoking protests and what not, that also helps fuel the cult fires. The movie was an excellent payoff for the cult fans.
