Is Wanting Hillary To Win The Nomination The One Thing That Both Sides Can Agree On

Why would any sane person vote for Hillary Clinton?

Why would you vote for Hillary? You know she is going to lose in the end. The media supports Barack and so does most of the country. Whoever supports Hillary is probably uneducated because they obviously do not know any better, or is some kind of bully to think that her dirty campaign tactics is something we need from a future president... The Hillary supporters act as stupid and as ferocious as the person they represent. I think anger management needs to be issued.

“Civility can start again” if Democrats win says Hillary Clinton. Do you agree with her?

I really do not think so… Obama would have been the civility and look what that brought, Trump.Obama was a fine President but he missed the mark on the pain Americans felt. While Flint was in crisis and teachers were marching Obama was not doing what he needed to do. He treated Flint as nothing special and didn't march with the teachers.Obama brought America into more wars and under his watch a Republican healthcare plan came into effect and yes the ACA is a Republican plan as well as watched Citizens United coming into effect which he should have been screaming at the top of his lungs that America was falling to oligrachy. And only two candidates in 2016 recognized that and it was Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump… populists through and through.Trump has his faults but one thing he knows is how to read a crowd, he knows exactly what to say to his base and he got them charged. Civility means nothing to the pain and anger that has been building up over decades in this country and Trump tapped right into it. He listened and stoked the flames.Sanders went another track and tried to prove his beliefs by embodying them with grassroots organizing, meeting as many folk directly, and small dollar donations with no Super PAC money. He showed the people what they wanted without the hostility. An uncorrupt man who would listen. These are two things Democrats can do to win… they need to be populist. But if you want civility go to Bernie Sanders and bring him and his team into the process in some major way. Watch how he pounded pavement and got crowds… Obama did similar in '08 just fell short after winning… follow through the message. If you want civility restored you need politicians who spend more time pounding pavement than on the phone with billionaires. If you they stay on that phone though, the American people will just get more in pain, more angry, and then there is no telling how much more uncivilized the US will get.

Bernie Supporters: If Hillary wins the nomination will you still vote for Hillary, and if not why?

Will I vote for Hillary Clinton just because she gets the Democratic nomination? Absolutely not. Hillary represents everything I hate about politics, politicians, and our horribly corrupt government.I could go on and on about the following :Panama PapersBenghaziVoting record for warEmail serverCrime BillFrackingWall street tiesSpeeches for yuge sums of moneyClinton foundation being a shell for money launderingFlip flopping on EVERY major issue for the last 30 yearsPushing a inherently wasteful health care systemShe is a corporatist, establishment puppet; a spineless liar that reverses her position on nearly everything once she determines that it is beneficial for her to do so. When she can't easily reverse her position, she lies or changes the subject. So: when people suggest voting her because "Do you really want President Trump?" Honestly, I would rather see a Trump presidency than Hillary in office. Trump is a damned idiot and knows nothing about virtually anything; but at least he isn't owned by the establishment, media, corporations, and money in politics cycle that have ruined our economy.#bernieorbust #releasethetranscripts

Republicans, should Cochran's nomination be nullified?

This is interesting (to me anyway). An article on Yahoo News says that the Tea Party in Mississippi is trying to get the primary election results nullified. Their argument is not the usual Tea Party argument ("What WE want is what should happen. If people vote otherwise, their votes shouldn't count"), it's actually a much better argument--that the Republican candidate should be chosen by REPUBLICAN voters! And because of the open run-off where anyone could vote, Cochran didn't get the majority of -Republican- votes!

http://dailycaller.com/2014/06/30/tea-pa...

And though I don't agree with the Tea Party much, I think they have a major point here! Political parties have the right to choose their OWN candidate!

What do you think?

Does the Republican Party REALLY want to get rid of Hillary?

The GOP is torn on getting rid of Hillary, but not for the reasons you might think.Hillary is viewed as the stronger candidate by many on the Democratic side of the fence. However, in matchup after matchup where polls test how she would do come the election versus how Bernie would do, Bernie does better than she does. This suggests that she is actually the weaker candidate come the general election. So for that reason they want her to be the nominee. However, they also treat her with all the caring and respect that Gollum would view somebody he thinks is trying to take his precious, meaning they'd rather she was out of the race. But Sanders is not playing by the usual script they are used to when they attack, and they don't like that, so they want Hillary to trade punches with them.I was more than a little surprised when Marco Rubio, of all people, spoke... well, not in praise, but at least in friendly candor about Bernie Sanders, saying that Sanders was actually a decent fella. That is very counter to the usual GOP attack script. I think Sanders has earned more friends on both sides of the aisle than many people might expect. Even in his talking down of Republicans, he still treats them pretty much as adults. I bring that up for two reasons: one, Hillary has fewer friends on the other side of the political divide, meaning President Hillary would have a tougher time getting legislation done if all else were equal; and two, that suggests that Bernie might have an easier time getting some of his proposed legislation through than some people think.Hillary does not presage a return to anything resembling political civility. Bernie just might. I apologize for the side-track off the main question, but since he is the other main Democratic candidate, and he polls better than she does against various GOP candidates, I thought it might be a good contrast.

If Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president, would you then support him completely, or would you switch to Democrat?

One more data point...  (-:I consider myself a Republican, have always voted Republican in presidential elections, and have voted for Democratic candidates (in other elections for lower offices) perhaps less than 5% of the time--and even then only when I knew the candidate personally or disliked the Republican candidate.  HOWEVER, I will *NOT* vote for Trump, period.  Of all of the candidates of either party, I dislike him the most and trust him least, and I also believe Trump to be disastrously underqualified and wrongly-tempermented for the Office he seeks.  Whether that means I will vote for a Democrat this time around (which is unlikely), cast a protest vote for a minor party candidate (e.g., whoever is running as the token Libertarian), or just explicitly not vote for President (while still voting in every other contest for this election cycle)...well, I am as-yet undecided.  What I do know for certain, however, is that I will not be voting for Donald Trump.  (Ironically enough, among six remaining candidates in both parties, I like Kasich the best on an ideological level.  However, I probably like Bernie Sanders the most in a general sense--he seems honest, sincere, consistent, and trustworthy--yet I disagree, often strongly, with nearly all of his political positions as being either too socialist or too anti-capitalist for me to support.)

I'm undecided between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Who should I vote for?

I agree with Jacob. BUT, he is a kinder, gentler supporter of Bernie Sanders. I on the other hand am with the polling majority that Clinton is untrustworthy. I might be able to overlook that in a politician. It is almost expected nowadays. Clinton is just over the top untrustworthy.By her own words and reported actions:She is pro 2nd Amendment then she is anti 2nd Amendment. She is against gay marriage then she is for gay marriage. She is anti-superPAC but has two. One even coordinates with the campaign. She will rein in Wall Street, but accepts millions from them--both personally and as donations to her campaign. The biggest issue I have is that she is a Neocon in the ranks of Dick Cheney. She voted for the Iraq war and then made the exact same mistake in Libya. I mean, Libya was right out of the Neocon playbook.Lastly, she may very well be indicted for malfeasance with a private server and/or inproprieties with pay to play with the Clinton foundation as Secretary of State. Should this come up in the general election it would be a disaster for Democrats. That is assuming she even wins the nomination.I haven't even listed the "right wing conspiracy" scandals that have plagued her during nearly all of her public life. Whether you believe or not is somewhat irrelevant. If it is all conspiracy and all completely fabricated, then how in the world will she accomplish anything in office? Some say Sanders won't accomplish anything. I believe he will accomplish way more than Clinton, even without the polical revolution. If the revolution succeeds and energized voters overcome gerrymandering, then the sky is the limit. Clinton will do nothing but bask in the power she has always craved and has and will say anything to get elected. For all these reasons, I recommend that you not only vote for Bernie Sanders, but you also become a full fledged member of the political revolution and help us take our country back.Edit: Here's a light hearted note on why Bernie is the better candidate, there's a saying about imitation is the best form of flattery, well check this out from SNL: (funny, but seriously true)http://www.mediaite.com/online/s...

Do you believe Hillary Clinton will campaign for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president?

Well, she said recently that she “really wanted to be president” and has generally been more visible recently. I take that to be a trial balloon. She wants to be president and she is looking at the reaction to her comments to see whether there’s any support for her. Whatever her flaws, she is clearly strong-willed and determined. However, if she is realistic and open to reality, she will see that there is essentially no chance that the Democrats will renominate her, whatever Republicans or Trotskyites may like to believe. The Democrats will not renominate her because she has proven herself to be a poor candidate. She lost to a candidate she should have destroyed. Neither party likes to renominate candidates who have won the nomination but lost the general election. The last time the Republicans did that was with Nixon in 1968, after he had lost in 1960. The last time the Democrats did that was in 1956, with Adlai Stevenson.A second reason why Democrats will not nominate her is that they will have many more candidates to choose from in 2020, none of whom will be as unpopular or start with all of the baggage of having been attacked on a major network for decades. In 2020, the Democratic field will be wide-open, and they will be able to choose the best candidate rather than the heir apparent. That is probably good news for them because that is when they do best.

Will you support Obama as Hilary said she would if she lost? (read first)?

Common sense should tell us who will win the Democratic party. Ignoring who you want to win you should know there is a slim chance Hilary can win.

Unless Obama dies, someone exposes that he is an alien or something along those lines he will win.

Hilary needs to win 70% of the unchosen delegates not to win but to have a decent chance to argue why she should be the nominee.

My 2 questions are:

How do you feel knowing that Hilary has an extremely slim chance of winning?

And will you support Obama as Hilary said she would if she lost?

(Hilary will be for Obama Next month if he wins)

This is politics, it was never personal
