Are beans healthy to eat when trying to lose weight?

We always ALWAYS have beans in the house ...My boyfriends mum who I live with cooks them all the time straight from the bean... So Its probably the healthiest thing we have in the house besides fruits and vegetables... Otherwise everything else in this house is Greasy and Processed..... So would beans be a good option?

Will I gain weight if I ate 2,000 calories today (healthy food only)?

most people don’t gain weight by eating 2,000 calories daily, each day of their life. 2,000 calories is the average calories needed by a woman that is just noderately sedentary, so most women eat as much food to keep their weight, not to gain weight. It’s quite likely that you would nee dto eat the exact same amount of food on each and every day just to keep to your current weight. Even eating 100–200 calories less on a daily babsis will cause you to lose weight. Eating much less than that will cause your weight to stall as starvation mode sets in.

Is p90x good for weight loss?

p90x is a great thing to help you lose weight, IF YOU STICK TO IT. Thats no cutting cornors, you gotta push your self to the end of ever workout and keep it consistent and you also have to change you diet.

Is p90x worth the 100+ bucks no. Unless you can find it cheap used, barrow it from a friend, or get a illegal pirated copy its not really worth it.

If you wanna lose weight run 20 minutes a day to start with once you can accomplish that do 30 mins a day you really dont need more then that a day of cardio a nice jog, biking, jump rope, swimming will burn calories, wear long sleeves to burn more faster. Maybe some ab workouts as in crunches and stuff to tone up your tummy after losing weight.

Cardio is the best way to lose weight, but you will see no results unless you change your diet to a healthy diet i can not stress that enough. That means kick all the surgery drinks out, start drink water, and juices i dont suggest drinking power-aide or Gatorade alot only during a work out because it has alot of salt which will make you retain water and you'll weigh more then. So cut you soda intake down to 1 soda a day which is what i do just for that little caffeine boost in the morning. Rest though waters and juices. Soda is the biggest cause of weight gain. Also need to cut out the candy sweets and fast food.

White meats, veggies, fibers, whole wheats, beans, pastas are good for you fill you up quick, also 4-5 small meals aday is the best diet plan to lose weight.

I ate a lot today will it ruin my weight loss process?

I was very surprised I lost more weight by eating more of the correct foods and drinks then not eating enough,I went thru a period actually had three meals a day, don’t drink soda pop or sugar juices, plenty of water, water is wonderful once you begin to form the habit of drinking it,i even had a snack after 6:00 pm lost a lot of weight, down to size in high school and didn't even realize it at first and felt better eating more food, keeping blood sugar level, with more energy and not so moody.

I ate 1700 calories today! will i gain weight?!?!?

NOPE!
today may not be a day that you lost the half a pound you would have if you ate 1200, BUT you'll maintain your weight. You WILL NOT gain. You'd have to eat 5500 calories today to gain only ONE lb!
think of it this way..say you started dieting on a monday, and four months later you reach your goal weight on a wednesday. well now you'll reach your goal weight on thursday. It'd be like waiting just one day to start your diet. No big deal. Atleast you didnt pig out and eat OVER maintenance. CONGRATS(: and good job on your weight loss!
good luck on the journey ahead!

Weight loss/binge eating. How to stop?

I am trying to lose weight and I keep getting urges to binge. I ha binged today and two days ago but it has been on my healthy food instead of the sugary junk I always would binge on.
I've been eating good for almost four weeks and worked out four days so far.
Is my body still trying to adjust to eating healthy and it's wondering where the junk food is? I'm eating enough, actually I think too much. I eat around 1500-1700 calories verses what I used to eat like 4,000 a day.

Will I gain weight I had an extra 2000 cals today?
