Is Yahoo Mail Down It Wont Load My Mail And Keeps Giving Me A 14 Error Code What Is That

Can not sign in on my ps3 it keeps giving me the 8002a240 error code?

I'm getting the same error code. The reason you have friends online still is because any playstation that was online at the time they took the server down was ported over to essentially a ghost server, so those people who are lucky enough not to freeze, or have to restart, can stay online through the maintenance. Those of us that froze, or had to restart, or whatever...are screwed... at least until they complete the maintenance. Also, it is a router code, but because there is a ghost server of the playstation network which you can not connect to without being ported to it, your playstation freaks out and figures that your router must be bugged...even if you don't have one (as is my case at the moment).

Windows Live mail isn't working, won't load my messages and keeps giving me error. help?

Seriously, even before giving a solution I would suggest you to try and use gmail from Google which has better features and compatibility with both Microsoft and Apple products. I am not sure if Windows Messenger is available on Ipod but there should be a Gtalk messenger from Google that can notify you about emails on the Ipod as well as your computer too.

Error 5102 with error ID 0x8DE20003 is a serious issue with the Hotmail account that is probably caused at the server side and has to be fixed by Microsoft and nothing can be done on the user side. This is the ONLY Solution provided at the Microsoft Website and there is no guarantee or you could be advised to open another new account LOL

If you want to try an alternate method to the messenger then you can install an email client on the Ipod/Computer and setup an email check within a short interval of even 2 mins and notify you. This has the disadvantage of draining your battery and more data usage. I have my mailbox to be checked every 30 min during the day only and at home my Music Pod connects to the home network ensuring that I do not use more of the wireless carrier data limit.

Help!! My computer keeps giving me a blue error screen and then shutting itself down...see details please help

It's hard to tell exactly what's going on. If it's Windows Vista or XP, then you're hitting what's called a STOP error. It is a 0x followed by a long string of letters and numbers that tells you the error code, which you can look up on the Internet. If the hard drive is having problems, and you can't get into safe mode, it's probably a bad sector on the hard drive in a system critical file. Your best bet is to do the following:

1) Have a nerd friend take the hard drive out of your computer and place it in his. Have him copy everything you want to save to CD/DVD or an external hard drive.
2) Load the hard drive back into your computer and boot it up. If the error still occurs, reboot the computer with the installation disk at the ready.
3) First, try the non-destructive reinstall. This will install Windows without wiping your data, but will require a reinstall of your programs.
4) If that fails, try the total system restore and recover your files from the CDs/DVDs/external hard drive.
5) If a total reinstall fails, you need to buy a new harddrive. If your computer isn't that old, you need to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer.

If the computer offers a boot restore option, you may not have a recovery CD. Try booting into the restore partition--it's usually F11 on the keyboard at the beginning of the boot sequence.

If you don't have a geeky friend to help copy off your data, you may have to pay Geek Squad or a computer tech pro to help recover your data. If you know how to do it or know someone who does, do NOT take it to a tech. This is easy to do yourself if you have a second computer and some simple computer hardware skills.

If it's a laptop, take it in. You'll pay $150+ to have your data recovered, but working on a laptop is a good way to ruin it.

Why is Yahoo! Mail always giving me this error message?

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

I cannot connect yahoo messenger to the internet it keeps giving me connection error messages help me please?

There are many conditions that can contribute to this problem. There is no one answer to this question.
The main solution is the version compatibility of all the components of your operating system. This can be solved by re-installing the operating system to follow the automatic purging of corrupt dynamic link libraries and registry entries. DO NOT ATTEMPT to do any of these operations manually or your computer may stop functioning completely!
The reason why these error occur is because application and support files used by automatic downloads often cause interactive problems with your operating system for which 'patches' or supportive fixes must be written by the software developers..
These down loads include automatic support such as codecs for movies, shared dynamic link libraries for multitasking, background processes that may be required to operate a program and even TSR (residuals that clutter up your RAM (so many technical issues) .
This is typical of the Microsoft family of operating systems.

You could also install a less interactive IM client such as Trillian to operate your yahoo messenger account. It still has all the features that you probably want and is less likely to cause critcal errors.

The best answer is to have a qualified and trusted professional solve the error problem by spending the time to diagnose what is really happening with your computer.

I personally do not use any Microsoft applications or operating system on any computer I own because of the amount of time it requires to maintain such systems in an error free condition. This would take more administration time than I have to look after the many machines I operate.

Dell mini 9 Error code 2147023174 can anyone help me?

See my source below. If it doesn't help just type your error code into a search engine & look up some other answers. Or, you could just try backing up whatever you want to save (docs, music, pictures etc) & reinstall the OS. BTW system restore sucks *** & apparently few experts depend on it to do anything besides not work when you need it.
You should also upgrade to SP3 if you're still using SP1 or SP2. GOOD LUCK!

Yesterday it worked
Today it is not working
Windows is like that

I am desperate to access about 30 messages in my yahoo mail. But yahoo keeps giving me this message when i try to view the messages: There appears to be a problem loading the email "(whatever the subject of the email is)" I can't find any way to talk with a real person at yahoo, and I have two major finals I must study for tonight using these emails! Please, can anyone help me: 1. Solve this problem or 2. Talk with a real person at Yahoo?

I can not get yahoo mail on my iPad or iPhone. Keeps saying the server is unavailable. How to fix?

Close the mail app on the iphone and go to a computer, sign in to your yahoo mail account and do the verification that it pops up. If there is no such thing that pops up then go back to your iphone and do the following:

1.) Delete the yahoo mail account on your iphone.
2.) Add mail account using "other" instead of "Yahoo!" and setup as IMAP account.
3.) Use the following information:
- username MUST include @yahoo.com at the end
- incoming server = imap.mail.yahoo.com
- outgoing server = smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- always retype your password

Tell me if this solution works or doesn't work. It worked on my girlfriend's iphone4 after 16 hours of reading online and messing with it and a lot of restoring.

Why do i get "authentication failed" when i try to set up yahoo mail on my iphone?

You will need adjust the mail application's POP settings to get your Yahoo! Mail messages into it.

POP access is a service for owners of one of the following:

Yahoo! Mail Pop Access & Forwarding
Yahoo! Mail Plus Premium Services
A Broadband account
A Small Business account

Please note that access to IMAP servers is not available.

To use an email client or application to send and receive Yahoo! Mail messages, you may need to designate a new incoming (POP) mail server and a new outgoing (SMTP) mail server. Consult your owner's manual for instructions on designating servers in the email application.

If you can't add new POP or SMTP servers, you will need to change your current server settings. Before you make any changes, write down your current settings. You might need to revert to your original settings later if you decide to send and receive messages from your other email addresses.

The following steps will help you find the POP settings for your Yahoo! Mail account and configure it:

Log onto your Yahoo! Mail account from a PC.
Click Options > Mail Options.
Click POP & Forwarding.
Click Set up or edit POP & Forwarding.
Click POP Settings.

Note your Server Setting information. Your phone email client or application will ask for these settings:

Incoming Mail Server (POP3)— for example, pop.mail.yahoo.com.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)— for example, smtp.mail.yahoo.com.
Account Name/Username, your Yahoo! Member ID— for example, myuserID.
Email address, your Yahoo! Mail address— for example, myuserID@yahoo.com.
Password, your Yahoo! Mail password— for example, l0ngitudin*l

Notes:

POP server settings may change from time to time and you should confirm the current POP server settings in Yahoo! Mail if it is not working.

When using Microsoft Outlook, replace the "@" in your address with "%".

As an alternative to configuring Yahoo! Mail POP mail configurations, go to:

http://mobile.yahoo.com/mail

Enter your phone number and send a link to your phone; the best Yahoo! Mail experience will be suggested to you.
