Isnt In Hillarious How People On Y A Think Homeless Peopledont Have Internet Access

What is the second thing homeless people need the most after sheltering?

Money. Enough money to live independently. That may mean a job, it may mean disability benefits for those unable to work, and it means a livable amount of assistance until they have their own income from whatever source. Not in-kind assistance. Not training programs that don’t lead to jobs paying enough to live on. Not compassion. They need real, tangible things, and they need money so each person can get the things he needs. That doesn’t go for addicts/alcoholics. They need detox/rehab programs.

Why don't some people realise this about homeless people?

That it is possible for a homeless person without a computer to go on the Internet and ask a questions on Yahoo Answers because libraries have computers with Internet access (at least in my city)? That many homeless people have jobs but that is not enough to pay rent? That homeless people don't always look homeless, maybe they just became homeless? That people who are homeless can have things from before they were homeless, or from samples in stores, or even from their own money? Why are some people so quick to inaccurately judge that a person could not be homeless because of a and b and c?

Please think before you judge; if a 'homeless' person posts on here please don't dismiss them as 'not being homeless' because they can post on the Internet - remember, libraries have computers with Internet access (at least in my city).

How to get rid of a homeless person sleeping nearby?

Hi,

I have a bum living across the street from my yard in a park.

He sleeps in the middle of the bushes 6 feet away from a park path where children walk and play.

I want this piece of garbage removed from my sight.

What creative measures do you suggest I employ in order to remove this individual from my neighborhood?
- Calling the police is out of the question, they have better **** to do and don't even respond to nonsense complaints like this.
- Violence is not an optimal solution yet the means to employ it are readily available and the actor has no moral hindrance from its use.
- Again, violence is not the best solution here.

He leaves his blankets and "bed" of pillows stashed there and I have removed them on more than one occassion.... he keeps coming back.

What will make him NEVER come back.

I want to put the fear of God into that worthless denzien of society.... that waste of perfectly good oxygen.

Why aren’t there homeless people in Japan?

Forget the parks. Just go to an internet cafe and you’ll see the homeless there. They’re known as Cyber-homeless (サイバーホームレス / saibaa houmuresu) or Net café refugees (ネットカフェ難民 / netto kafe nanmin). These are people who are stuck in low paying jobs such as cashiers or other service jobs, and can’t afford to rent an apartment. They resort to living in 24-hour, internet/manga cafe that is essentially a little cubicle with computer/internet access. Originally used by folks who missed the last train home, they’ve become a semi/permanent home for these homeless. For $15–20 per night, you have internet/TV/manga books, soft drinks, snacks, shower and a room to sleep in. This is less than the $25–40 for a typical capsule hotel. These people get dressed in the morning and go to work so they don’t look like the typical homeless, but they are homeless. Here’s a documentary on the Cyber-homeless and weblink for a typical Net café / Manga coffee shop.ネットカフェ・漫画喫茶のメディアカフェポパイ

I am 22 years old and homeless, i need to know if anyone could help me, im lost.?

I have no parents or friends that can truly help me out. My mother is strung out somewhere. All i want to do is be able to go to work and spend time with my boyfriend. He can't do anything for me due to the situation with his landlord. I just need that little bit of help. Somewhere i can lay down, pay rent, and go to work, be able to live my life without being put 2 steps back every time i turn around. I am not a criminal, nor am I hooked on anything. I just keep questioning my life wondering why I am here if this is all i keep going through. I need help. I just want somebody with a helping hand that understands and wants to reach out. I would gladly help out and pay every penny back, i just do not want to be stuck out here anymore.. Taylor

What is the difference between a normal person and a homeless person?

Well, nothing and everything. I think you should ask what is the difference between a homeless person and a non homeless person,'normal' is too hard a concept to tackle.1, A non homeless person can become a homeless person in a day and vice versa.2. Nobody, is immune to becoming homeless, Nobody.Non homeless people usually, and I'm generalizing here, have supported, stable upbringings, good mental health, education to be employed and subsequently provide a home for themselves and significant others. The have a voice, and can participate in the issues that interest them. They have access to help with medical and psychological assistance. The have support systems, and extended family.Homeless people don't have the above. Again I remind you I'm generalizing,The myriad of differences are as many as each individual's reason for being homeless. There is no cut and dry, black and white. My own personal experience of being homeless was an extreme sense of fear, hopelessness, and impotence, not having a voice, not being heard or validated as a human being.Education is an enormous part of the solution to homelessness. It's what got me off the streets. But education must be accessible, affordable, purposeful, appropriate and actually get homeless people jobs that provide a liveable income with a real chance at upholding secure accommodation. So, there is in a sense no difference between homeless and non homeless people, we are all people, who, under different circumstances and chance, fortune or non fortune, luck if you like, require shelter as a basic human need, only some, due to inequality and lack of opportunities, become homeless. There are no certainties or guarantees in this life, we all need the same basic things and we are all just trying to survive. My best to you, Jillian.
