It Drops Out As A Matter Of Logic What Does That Mean

Does boeing also have the "ground logic", as airbus has (so that the plane knows that it has landed)?

I'd once worked on a product for Boeing that used the "In Air" boolean expression for the aircraft state logic. This variable was available from the 429 bus and is computed from some other subsystem. I am not aware of the exact inputs that sets the "In Air" to (In Air = TRUE means A/c is airborne and FALSE means on ground). Weight on Wheels, IAS or Groundspeed exceeding preset vaules were a few of the inputs for the In Air/On Ground logic.

It doesnt matter who the manufacturer is, the ground logic is very important for aerospace applications.

What does this quote mean from The Trial by Kafka?

1. Sometimes it is possible to understand an issue on one level while simultaneously misunderstanding it on another. It is also possible to have a logical understanding of the facts of a situation without factoring in personal values; which really results in a misunderstanding of the situation.
2. To me this quote exemplifies the feeling of utter impotence and futility one experiences when attempting to seek a just resolution to a problem in a system whose purpose is to perpetuate its own existence. The more one seeks just consideration, the more defensive and self-protective the system becomes.
3. I guess this is a little bit of irony in that the main reason he was in his present state was that he wanted to know if there was truly any justice in the Justice System; and he ends up on the losing end of an unjust situation.

Where does our sense of logic come from?

Humans are only form of life that exhibits logic in the form that we understand it to be: a set of formal rules such that premises lead to a valid conclusion. This would constitute a valid argument, and it is a concept developed by the Ancient Greeks. Over the years we have perfected it to the extent that logic and its rules become a field of Mathematics.Even so, not all humans are able exhibit logic. Logic is something humans learn, not something that we are born with. All other animals in the world merely exhibit pattern matching behaviour. It is easy to see that, because they are easily tricked by false positive pattern recognition. (Think along the lines of Pavlov's dog salivating when there is no food)

What is the meaning of logic?

The term "logic" came from the Greek word logos, which is sometimes translated as "sentence", "discourse", "reason", "rule", and "ratio". Of course, these translations are not enough to help us understand the more specialized meaning of "logic" as it is used today. So what is logic? Briefly speaking, we might define logic as the study of the principles of correct reasoning. This is a rough definition, because how logic should be properly defined is actually quite a controversial matter. However, for the purpose of this tour, we thought it would be useful to give you at least some rough idea as to the subject matter that you will be studying. So this is what we shall try to do on this page.Logic is not the psychology of reasoningOne thing you should note about this definition is that logic is concerned with the principles of correct reasoning. Studying the correct principles of reasoning is not the same as studying the psychology of reasoning. Logic is the former discipline, and it tells us how we ought to reason if we want to reason correctly. Whether people actually follow these rules of correct reasoning is an empirical matter, something that is not the concern of logic. The psychology of reasoning, on the other hand, is an empirical science. It tells us about the actual reasoning habits of people, including their mistakes. A psychologist studying reasoning might be interested in how people's ability to reason varies with age. But such empirical facts are of no concern to the logician.

What can you say to refute this logic?

Ok. I am a Calvinist, meaning I believe in the 5 point TULIP theory.
Total Depravity
Unconditional Election
Limited Atonement
Irresistible Grace
Perseverance of the Saints

"When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed." Acts 13: 48

In this verse look what happened first. Because they were appointed for eternal life, they were saved. See if an anti-Calvinist can explain that.

I believe that it is God who saves us, He died on the cross and at that point in time he saved our sins.

Some people believe that God died on the cross for our sins, but that we have a choice to accept him or not. By that logic our sins are not forgiven until we accept him. Then, who's action is forgiving your sins? Yours, or God's? If you believe that then you are limiting what happened on the Cross. You can't say that God forgave your sins on the cross, and you have to chose whether to accept him or not. It's 1 or the othe

Does God exist? Why is the concept of God illogical / logical?

Okay so first of all don't get all defensive and start spewing hate comments at me. I'm being completely neutral here. I was raised a Muslim but I'm agnostic. Trying to figure things out.Try to be a little less biased to your own opinion, please?

I know the Darwinian theory is the most common deterrent to disprove God's existence, especially based on Biblical literature, because it disproves creationism, yada, yada. Okay, I get it. Evolution is real, and we have enough evidence to prove it. Adam and Eve never came from the Garden of Eden. Why can't God and evolution mutually exist? Religious scriptures put aside, do we have any evidence to disprove the existence of God Himself? I mean, we are so remotely new to the universe.

We haven't even ventured far enough to prove that we are the only intelligent life to exist in the universe (assuming that we are even considered intelligent in comparison to other possible intelligent beings which could be so much more advanced than we are, so much so that we appear as cavemen to them.) (I'm sort of struggling with words here. If there's anything I've missed out, I'm only 15, do bear with me.) The idea of parallel dimensions, separate universes outside our own, etc, these all aren't disproven either. So in this context, who are we to conclude whether or not God exists?

There's so much more I want to say but Yahoo isn't letting me. Damn character limits.
