It I Very Ignorant To Say The Only Reason Melo Stayed Was For Money

Why do men say they want you to have their baby. then leave you to raise the baby on your own?

my ex boyfriend. told me he wanted me to have his baby. he wanted us to start trying soon as possible. he decided he wanted a little girl and chose a name. each time we tried baby making in bed he'd really go at it. different postions. he was really determined to get me pregnant. after sex he'd rub my tummy. we'd talk about all the babies we were gonna have. especially about the one we was trying to concieve. he'd talk about being a protective and loving father. a year we spent trying. and i finally got pregnant. we were both happy. i don't know where things went wrong. he started to always not be around. missed hospital appointments, scans and the birth. about a month after the baby was born, he just left. without a word. i was left distarught. i asked for child support but he refuses to give any. emotionally and fiancially. i don't understand. he wanted me pregnant with his child. he led me to believe he was going to take care of his child. so why has he left me to go at it alone?

How come LeBron gets criticized for his decision but Melo or CP3 don't?

I agree with you in some stuff. Although I don't think that CP3 and Melo made any promises, people did exaggerate criticizing LeBron, he was on a pretty bad team and he wasn't going to win anything in that team. People should stop saying bullshit about how KB and MJ won rings by themselves because they didn't, they might have been the biggest and best part of it but they didn't. KB had a nice team every time he went on to win the championship, he had Shaq on his first three rings and MJ had Pippen amongst others in the Chicago Bulls. The great Michael Jordan said "...players win games, teams win championships...". Although Dwight Howard stayed on Orlando, nobody criticized him for wanting to leave a relatively good team in comparison to The Cavs. And finally to answer your question, the reason Melo and CP3 weren't criticized was because all eyes are always on Lebron.

And for the people who wonder, no, im not a miami fan actually i fallow the Knicks because im from new york. Being a fan of Lebron has anything to do with my response but facts are facts.

Cleveland Cavalier Fans, Lebron's Statement About Marbury Is He Setting Us Up To Leave?

ESPN (known for sparking rumors in order to boost attention) led the speculation that the Cavs might be interested in trading for Stephon Marbury.
Lebron's statement "I couldn't have a guy like that on my team." was simply a response to the speculation.

Apparently Lebron prefers guys like Ron Artest, who jumps into stands to assault fans, over a guy like Marbury, as Lebron indicated a few years back that he'd welcome Artest to the Cavs in a comment made during the speculation of that time.

Also worth noting is a running fued Marbury has with "The King" as last season the two traded barbs over Lebron's $150 shoes and Marbury's $15 shoes, and Marbury's mocking of Lebron's hosting the ESPY's on a New York Post blog:
"You want to make me the clown I'm not the dude on the ESPY's, getting carried on a throne. I'm not him. I'm the good guy, not the bad guy. I don't want to be carried on the throne I just want to walk among the people."

In my opinion.....
I'm a lifelong Cavaliers fan, yet I have to side with Stephon Marbury concerning the shoes and the ESPY's.
Good for Marbury!

As a follower of the Cav's I am not aware of any expressions by Lebron indicating his "love for the bigger market cities.....".
Lebron wears a Yankees cap because he's been a Yankees fan all his life.
He was asked to host Saturday Night Live because he is what he is......the reigning media touted "Superstar" of the NBA.
Lebron wants to be global in terms of marketing recognition and raking in even more big $$$$ for himself.
I don't think he has visions of playing for any future newly NBA franchised Beijing "Chopsticks".

Lebron the local guy was never a fan of the local Cleveland Indians or the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a fan of the hated Yankees and the hated archrival and archnemesis Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan.
There's no sense of loyalty or nobility or rivalry to many of todays professional sports athletes. They just go where the $$$$ takes them....and I expect Lebron will do much the same.
Lebron has not endeared himself in my heart so I won't miss him when he does.

P.S. >"NEWSFLASH"< Lebron grew up in and is from Akron, not Cleveland, and still lives in the Akron area, out in the 'burbs with the rest of the well-off folks.

Confusion About Metal?

Not so much my *own* confusion, though god knows, I get very confused with the 10 dozen+ metal sub-genres. lol

But I saw a thread this morning & they pretty much suggested that "metal" & "heavy metal" are 2 separate genres.

I really did laugh at that! At the risk of sounding like a dinosaur, it reeeeally wasn't this insane in the 80s with the micro-sub genres. It was very simple. You said you liked "heavy metal" or "metal", it all meant the same thing.

2-part Q: What're other things about metal that some seem to get Totally wrong?

and

*Why* is there so much confusion over it?

I can't figure a way out of poverty. I have a job that pays enough to for me to afford a car. I dont have a degree. Clerical & cooking experience only. What are some options?

I was in a similar position as you when I was in my early 20s. I decided to really take a look at my life and decide what I wanted now and 40 years from now. They say, love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. Well, I knew what I was doing then was not what I loved to do and the only way out was to go back to school at night. I was single, had a small child and very little money to spare. So, I dug my heels in, got a school loan and ended up going to a weekend college and finishing in night school. I was fortunate enough to work at a company that would pay for your college as long as you maintained a “B” average. So, I used my student loan for the initial payment for books, tuition and the like. They would reimburse me at the end of the quarter/semester. I was also fortunate enough to have someone watch my child while I was gone or studying for a final or working at the library on research. After I put my child to bed, I would study until midnight, sleep and get up at 5:30 a.m. to get ready to go to work. It will be a time of frustration too, as your friends want you to go out and social functions will be calling your name. But the dedication you show to yourself right now, will come back to you all the rest of your life. It’s tough, it’s all consuming, but you are only going to be in this temporary tough position for 4 or 5 years…at most. Unless you decided your passion is a doctor, then 8 or more years is a real dedication to building a strong work base. So, after college, I finally landed the position that I always wanted and that was my career. I got myself out of poverty by hard work building the foundation for a career that I really wanted. Yeah, I could have stayed working in a clerical field, but I wanted more and the only way was to make substantially more money. So, I loved what I did for almost 35 years. I didn’t have to work 2 jobs, I was paid well, and every day was easy to get up in the morning. You have to decide what is right for you, but remember, you probably have many, many years to work, so choose wisely.

Hip-Hop and Rap are the worst music genres ever.?

THATS ALRIGHT!.............ALL YOU GONNA HAVE TO DO IS TAKE IT PERSONAL!......BECAUSE WE ALL CAN SEE HOW OBVIOUS IT IS THAT YOU ARE JUST A WEAK MINDED INDIVIDUAL!........WHICH MAKES HIP HOP TO MUCH FOR YOU!............. YOU CANT HANDLE THE STRONG MUSIC IT CONTAINS............BECAUSE YOU GOT NO SOUL ANY WAYZ!!!!..........................SO MAKE IT EASY..... AND CRAWL UNDER THE ROCK!.....AND STAY THERE!!!...............PEACE!
