Item Not Received On Ebay Seller Refused Refund Had To Escalate Should I Retract

Snapdeal sent me a damaged item and now they are rejected my return request. What can I do now?

Why did you even shop from those thieves? Try escalating the problem on twitter( most probably they will not even check their twitter account.)Then place a complaint with your local Grahak Panchayat..

How does eBay resolve lost or undelivered items?

A2AeBay doesn't handle the issue, unless tracking # is not valued, or the seller didn't provide you with the tracking#. If that's the case, you will get a full refund. Once you purchase something on eBay, you should have a tracking number. Contact the seller, if you don’t see a tracking number on your purchase history page. It is in the seller full interest to provide you with the tracking number, as it serves as the guarantee that he actually shipped your item. You could see the detailed shipping history by using the tracking # to track your package. Once you see the item is delivered, but you don’t have the item in your mailbox, you could contact the shipping carrier whoever was handling the delivery. Some packages come with insurance, so you could file an insurance claim(contact your seller first), many do not. USPS first class packages don’t come with insurance from USPS, so you will not receive any compensation if package is lost. What you could do, and it worked for me in the past, call USPS 800 # and report your package is lost. They will take this very seriously and do a full research, even if the tracking # shows it has been delivered. Once they initiate their investigation, your local post office will receive the claim and 90% out of 100% they will find your package and redeliver it (from my personal experience).

What is eBay etiquette when I received an item that has an strong odor, which was not disclosed in the listing?

There is no etiquette on Ebay. It really comes down to how fair of a person you are.So - is it so filthy you would NEVER use it? Really?? Does it fit your camera? Does it work? If you want to show some etiquette you could explain politely and offer to ship it back. Because if you complain you're going to get to keep it free - ripping off the seller.THEN with your free lens are you going to resell it and slam his reputation as well? It's all up to you.

I requested a return on eBay after realizing I received a fake product from a seller who claimed that it's real. Is there anything else I need to do?

Your first step is to contact the seller and request a Return Shipping Label and a refund.Don’t get in a conversation about this. You want the RSL and the refund. Nothing else. When you are turned down (because a scammer is unlikely to cooperate), go to the eBay Resolution Centre and open an Item Not As Described dispute. The first suggestion is to Contact the Seller . You’ve already done that so ask eBay to step in and escalate to a Claim.EBay will tell the seller to send you a Return Shipping Label and when the RSL shows he has the item back, you will be refunded. It’s more complicated if the seller is not in the same country as you.And if more than 30 days have passed since delivery, you can still make a Claim through Paypal, but you will have to pay for the return yourself.Whether or not the item is counterfeit is irrelevant. Don’t get into an arguement about that.

How do you claim a refund on Aliexpress?

This depends on a variety of things, if the order has not yet been shipped you should be able to cancel easily and get your money refunded. However if the item has already been shipped or arrived it may be difficult. Most of these sellers won't accept returns and when they do you will have to pay the postage cost which could be very high. If the item doesn't arrive, is not as described or is broken/faulty you can start a claim to have your money refunded by Aliexpress. Be aware you will need to upload evidence to support your claim. Any other questions feel free to message me.

How long would it take to refund the money if I cancel an order from AliExpress within 30 minutes? Would I receive a full refund? I am in India.

The refund may take around 3–7 days, in some cases it will be much faster also. You cancel at any time the time they take to process will be the same. It's like they refund the full, but there will be some hidden charges they don't disclose i don't know why. Also there will be small deductions in the refund, which occurs because of dollar to indian rupees rate changes.Say there will be more or less 3% deductions in the refund and I have never seen like 10% deductions.Deductions will be small and reasonable.

If an AliExpress seller asks me to cancel the dispute and promises to send the replacement product, should I agree?

If the seller extends the protection, then agree. If not then don’t cancel the dispute. It will be a long process but you will get your money back if your dispute is well defined with proof. Regards :)

After I won an EBay auction, seller says winning bid too low and he will not sell for that price. What to do?

I won an item on eBay and shortly after the seller messages me and said that my winning bid was too low and he could not let the item go for so little. He said he was going to refund my money. It's been three days since and I have not received my refund or the item. I messages seller and he did not respond. I noticed he has relisted the item already. I couldn't find a topic on the resolution center that matches my issue. Do I have to wait until the 20th to report as item not received or is there another way of going about it?
